7 years later

"Babe! Honey, can you go get daddy and uncle Ryder please." I say to my now 4 year old son Nate

"Mommy." Nate says staring at me

His eyes look so much like Jackson's.

"Yes baby?" I say quickly as I grab the bacon from the pan

"When will Uncle Ty and Auntie Wydia be here?"

Tyler and Lydia had their child a few months after we returned from that epic vacation. A beautiful little boy name Kayden, he was the first one in the family and now has started the boy tradition.

We all have had boys so far; Tyler, Ryder and Jax are already drilling into them that baseball is number one.

After Kiely and Ryder told us they were expecting their first baby they got engaged not long after. Kiely is expecting again, a girl this time.

We haven't heard from Vickey much as she moved last I heard she is a teacher in Canada. Michelle and Hunter broke up.. And the got back together... Then broke up.. Then got back together.

Dad and Spencer have been really good as well, dad is still working harder than ever. Spencer and my dad have spoken about marriage but said at their age they don't need the piece of paper.

"They'll be here soon. Can you tell uncle Ryder that if he doesn't move this table that your mommy is going to call Aunt Kiely."

Nate looks up at me and giggles. Even my 4 year old knows that pregnant Aunt Kiely is no joke.

"You're fwunny mommy. UNCCCCWEEE WYYYYDER! MOMMY CALLING AUNT KEEEEWWWWY!" He yells quickly

I hear thundering footsteps and the den door swing open.

"Don't ever get married Nate. Women are mean!" Ryder says picking him up "they might look beautiful and nice but they are monsters."

A small gasp fills the room.

"MY MOMMY IS THE BESTEST! SHE SO BEAUTIFUUUUUL!" Nate says yelling into Ryder's ear followed by him growling.

Nate likes yelling... Wonder who he gets that from... but he's also had this strange obsession with growling at people like a dog lately.

"She's ok. She's my sister, I'm allowed to be mean!" Ryder says defending himself "You'll get it one day buddy"

A quick knock sounds on our front door and Nate goes nuts in Ryder's arms. Guess he kicked in where the sun don't shine because Ryder is now gripping my counter for dear life, his face turning red. He really loves his cousin Kayden, I hear the pitter patter of little feet running down the hallway.

"NAAAAAAATE!" Kayden yells tackling him straight onto my dark hardwood floors

"KAYDEN! COME WIFF ME! I GOT A NEW GAME!"

"Don't mess up Aunt Dani's house please Kayden!" Lydia calls after him before letting out and exasperated groan

"Ty, you're driving tonight right?" I say before giving him a quick hug

"Yes Danielle." He says laughing and slapping Ryder's back "hey man, you alright there?"

Ryder shakes his head before croaking out a sentence "I think my nephew might be a soccer star after all." His voice coming out as barely a wheeze

As all the boys do their weird bro hug thing I lead Lydia to my kitchen and pour her half a bottle of wine. Literally, this glass holds half a bottle. Jackson got it for me as a joke, I don't use it as a prop.
