"Ye baat yaad rakhein aap sub ki Kanchanjunga Military Academy mein indiscipline ko katayi bardasht nahi kia jayega. Captain Rajveer agar tumne sahi tarah se map ko follow kia hota to tum 3 ghante ke bheetar academy wapas aa gaye hote" scolds Brigadier Chandok. Knowing it too well that it had been Major Bhargava's plan, the reason that they are in this chaos, Captain Rajveer stares at Major Bhargava, who has a slight sarcastic smile on his face.
"Humein route ki navigation mein problem ayi thi Sir, isliye hum late ho gaye"informs Captain Rajveer. "Ek kabil officer se ye answer expected nahi hai Captain Rajveer. Tum ek simple sa route march navigate nahi kar paye?" scolds Brigadier Chandok."Captain Rajveer tumhe iss baat ke liye maaf nahi kia ja sakta".Captain Rajveer stares back at Major Bhargava, who is enjoying the insult."Shayad humare KMA mein aisa pehli baar hoga ki, ek officer ko uske kiye ki saza di jayegi!" declares Brigadier Chandok.
"Par Sir wo..." Naina starts to explain. "Cadet Singh, tumhari zimmedari tumhare mentor ki hai" scolds Brigadier Chandok, fuming with anger."Tumhara isse koi taluk nahi hai!"
Rajveer remains quiet, slightly angry because Naina didn't listen to him and remained quiet. Fully aware of the fact that Rajveer's anger is increasing for her with each passing moment, she remains determined. "Taluk hai Sir, Captain Rajveer mere mentor hain. Of course main nahi chahungi ki unhe bina kisi baat ke saza miley".Listening to her words, Rajveer clenches his fist, fully aware that although her eyes are not on him, but she is for sure noticing his reaction.
"Cadet Singh behtar ye hoga ki iss baat pe tum behas na karo warna Captain Rajveer ke saath-saath tumhe bhi iss baat ki saza mil sakti hai" warns Brigadier Chandok. Listening to his words Rajveer's heart contracts, fearing that she might get punished as well. He turns his head to look at her, to stop her. But before he could say anything, Naina declares, "to theek hai Sir, agar aap itne determined hain Captain Rajveer ko saza dene ke liye... to aap mujhey bhi saza dijiye. Captain Rajveer mere mentor hain, ye task hum dono ka tha, agar hum ye task theek time pe complete kar patey to aap hum dono ko congratulate karte! Par ab jo hum ye task theek time pe complete nahi kar paye... to aap hum dono ko saza dijiye, fair and square. Either we both are going to be punished or neither of us", she challenges Brigadier Chandok.
By the time she finishes, Naina's face turns red out of anger. Her heartbeats increases, not out of fear but out of anger and determination.
Listening to her words, Rajveer's heart swells with pride and something else, which he ignores accepting even to himself. (Slow Rajveer-Naina guitar tune begins) A little smile comes on his lips, which no one notices. He hides it just in fraction of seconds. But he also realizes that she shouldn't have done it, which again makes him angry, now even more than before.
Thinking about her words, Brigadier Chandok makes a decision, "theek hai Cadet Singh, main tumhare mentor ko punish nahi kar raha. Aur iska reason sirf ye hai ki mujhey acha laga ki tum apne mentor ke prati apni responsibility ko samjhti ho". Then turning towards Captain Rajveer, he says, "Captain, aaj to main tumhe punish nahi kar raha, par yaad rahe ainda aisi laparwahi fir hui to you wouldn't be spared". Giving him a last warning, Brigadier Chandok orders everyone, "Back to your rooms. Dismiss!" and leaves for his office.
