"Hey." I said back
" Let's go eat somewhere. It's really close by so we can walk." he said.
He led the way and I followed him. Once we got their it was a small but a cute place. Then the waitress came in and gave us menus. It silent for a while. Well are you going to say anything or what. Don't just leave me hanging here. Then the waitress came back and took our order.
"Umm Michelle..." he started off
"Neh."
"Ummm I-I want to thank you for yesterday." he stuttered
"You're welcome." I said
"Mianhae[1]... I'm just... umm nervous." he said trying to think
"Kwenchana[2]?" I asked a little worried.
"Huh.. oh neh kwenchana." he said while looking the other direction.
"Umm nan dangsin eul joh-a[3]." he blurted out.
"Huh?" I said just to make sure I heard that clearly.
Then he said it again and all I could do was stare. About a minute later I came back to my senses and asked him if what he was saying is true. I'm a happy he has feelings for me now but why now? Why can't he be an ordinary person sometimes. You're leaving today and you're telling me this. Wish he could be able to stay for a couple more days.What do I do? What do I say?
"Really?" I said. At this moment my face was getting hot. Before I could say anything he got a phone call.
(In korean)
"Yoboseyo?[4]Oh hello. Oh yeah I'm out right now. Yes I am close to the hotel. Neh araso[5]". Then he hung up and looked at me
"Everything okay?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Neh everything is okay. My manager just said our flight has been cancelled because there is a bad storm in South Korea and all the airports has been closed."
Wait what just happened? Did God really just answer my question?
"Really. That's great." I said in a flirty way.
"Yeah so now we can hang out more."he said excitedly
After our talk we went back to his hotel. We both sat on the bench and talk for a couple more minutes.
"Jungkook I have to go. Abby is waiting for me at my uncle's house. I'll see you tomorrow right?"
"Neh." he answered
Then he gave me a hug and I left. I thought to myself, is this a dream, this can not be real. I must be dreaming now. When I arrived I saw Abby on the porch waiting for me.
"Guess what? You won't believe what just happened. BTS' flight is canelled." we both said to each other
"Wait how do you know?" I asked her
"I was talking to Jimin for like 2 hours and he told me. And let me guess Jungkook told you."she said
"Yeah." I replied
"So what did Jungkook need to tell you." she asked hoping I would spill all of the details.
Once I finished telling her everything, her face was still, mouth opened, and was in disbelief. Then she got mad once again saying why Jimin didn't do anything for her. I told her to calm down and we both went inside. My Aunt and Uncle weren't home yet, so Abby and I decided to cook something for when they came home. During our little cooking I got a text from Jungkook.
Jungkook: Meet me at Golden Steak Resturaunt tomorrow at 4.[Recieved]
Me: Okay. [Sent]
After it sent I went back to help Abby cook. My Aunt came home first and helped us finish up cooking and set up the table. But she told us that Uncle Tim went on a business trip so it's was just us three girls. I finished eating first and started cleaning up. When I was about to go to my room, Abby blurted out to my Aunt,
"Michelle is going to have a boyfriend!"
"What really. So who's the lucky guy here Michelle?" she asked waiting for an answer
"It's just someone I met 2 days ago." I answered softly
"Mmmh cough it up honey." she said patting a seat next to her.
"Well first off he's not my boyfriend, second he just said he liked me today, third I'm not even sure what's going on, and lastly he's in the band BTS." I said quickly
"Man you and your mom is always getting the korean men". Then we all started laughing
"It's nothing really. But he wants to meet me again tomorrow."
"Where, when." said both my aunt and Abby
"At a resturaunt and around 4." I answered
Before there was any more questions, I left and went to sleep.
