THE BIG DAY
I was in my room of the hall we were having the wedding at. It had a beautiful scernery. We could see the beach outside the window. While I was day dreaming someone knocked the door.
"Come in," I answered.
"Ahh Michelle you're so beautiful," Mrs. Jeon said.
"Kam sa ham nida omma," I said happily.
"How are you feeling," she asked.
"Good, scared, sad, all mixed emotions," I replied.
"I get all that but sad, why?"
"My parents. They would really have wanted to see me on this day," I said trying not to tear up.
"Kwenchana[1], you have your Aunt and Uncle here. And now you have us too."
"Yeah, thank you," I said giving her a hug. Then Abby came in the room.
"Wow, you look amazing," we both said to each other.
"Thanks, but seriously you look gorgeous," Abby said.
"Thanks. Omma how long do we have left till the wedding," I asked.
"About 45 minutes. I should go out and check on Jungkook and the guests," she said walking out of the room.
Jungkook's POV
"You excited," Jimin asked.
"Nervous but yes excited," I replied.
"Jungkook you'll be fine plus we are right there next you," J-Hope said enthusiastically.
"Yeah you'll be fine," Suga said.
"Gomawo," I said to everyone.
I looked myself in the mirror and closed my eyes. I imagined what I wanted to happen today. After my little day dream, I decided to text Michelle.
Me: Hey.[Sent]
Michelle: Hey.[Recieved]
Me: Are you nervous? [Sent]
Michelle: Yes so nervous but I'm really excited. I have to go, I'll see you in about 45 minutes. [Recieved]
Me: Bye. [Sent]
After I put my phone down I went to look at the view outside.
"Jungkok," my mother called.
"Annyeong," I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"How's my son doing?"
"Okay. Really nervous but I'll be fine." I looked at the guys and they all winked at me.
"Good, your dad and I are so proud of you," she said as she touched the side of my face.
"Gomawo omma[2]. I wouldn't be who I am without you and appa[3]," I said hugging her.
"Oh my son will be getting married today to such a beautiful girl," she said.
"She's a keeper Jungkook. Treat her well," all of my hyungs[4] said as they gave me a thumbs up. My mom left and the guys came towards me. We all did a group hug and they headed out to the hall. But Jimin stayed with me.
"Wow Jungkook getting married before all of your hyungs," he laughed. I laughed along and nodded.
"Yeah, so how about you and Abby," I asked.
"We are taking it slow. I want to propose to her but I'm don't feel ready just yet," he told me.
"Yeah understandable."
He patted my back and then Jin poked his head through the door and said,
"Jungkook, your parents said to come to the hall and greet your guests."
"Neh, I'll come in a second," I replied. I stood up and streched.
"Kaja[5]," Jimin said. We went to the hall and it was packed. They were mostly my family members and our manager and producer. I went to say hi to everyone and I saw my dad. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. He sat down and patted to the seat next to him.
"Ahh I remember the day your mom and I was getting married," he said looking towards my mom.
"It was a special day huh," I said.
"Of course, but during our marriage I could have lost her. I wasn't always the best husband to your mom. I just want to tell you, be there for Michelle. Don't make her do things herself. If you do that to many times, there might not be a future for you and Michelle then. Also make sure you tell her how much you love her everyday."
"Kam sa ham nida appa. I will make sure she will be happy every day, don't worry."
"Jungkook," Michelle's uncle called.
"Hi Tim, glad you could make it. Tim this is my dad. Dad this is Tim, Michelle's uncle."
"Hi I'm Jeon JaeSuk. It's nice to meet you," he said as he shook Tim's hand.
"Well I'm going to go meet other guests. I'll see you guys later," I said walking away.
"Alright, can we have everyone seated please. The ceremony will start in less then 4 minutes," the MC announced. Everyone took their seat while I was at the altar with the guys. Music started playing, and Abby started walking towards the altar as she dropped the flower petals. Then popped out Michelle with Uncle Tim. Wow she looks gorgeous. Jungkook don't drool or look stupid. Look professional Jungkook. Michelle you look beautiful. I can't wait to call you my wife.
Michelle's POV
I was still in my room waiting for someone to escort me to the hall. Eventually someone knocked on the door.
"Come in," I said.
"Where's the beautiful bride," Uncle Tim said looking around.
"Haha over here," I walked up to him and have him a hug.
"Awe, my baby girl is grown up. How are you doing," he asked.
"I'm doing good but just upset," I answerd.
"Because of your parents," he asked.
"Yeah."
"It's okay they are watching you. Let's go," he said as he put his arms out. I took it and Abby led us the way to the hall.
When the music started, Abby walked towards the altar. I saw Jungkook at that moment. He saw me too and we stared at each other. Jungkook, my friend, my boyfriend, my husband. Thank you for everything. I love you.
"Everyone please rise," the MC said. Everything time I was getting closer to Jungkook, my heart raced even faster. Jungkook you look so handsome today. As we got to the altar, Jungkook stepped down and took my hand. We went back up to the altar and all the guys winked at me. I almost laughed but I kept it professional.
"Now the groom will say his vows."
"Okay, I'd like to say I'm so excited and happy for this day. The first day I met Michelle was at one of our meet and greet and it was the best day of my life. Michelle, you and I have gone through so much for the past 3 years but. I'm grateful to be able to call you my wife."
"Now the bride will say her vows."
"I was a girl who loved BTS and was lucky enough to get a ticket to see them. I still remember the first time I talked to him and I said I loved your voice. You have been the best thing that ever happened to me. You were there for me on my worst times and I love you so much. I so grateful to call you my husband." I gave the letter to Abby and held hands again with Jungkook.
"Do you Jungkook take Michelle as your wife?"
"I do."
"Do you Michelle take Jungkook as your husband?"
"I do."
"By the power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Jungkook leaned in and kissed me.
"Woooooooooooo," everyone in the room said. After our kiss we faced towards everyone and bowed. We walked out of the hall into the hallway. We had a couple minutes to ourself before everyone came out to go to the recpetion.
"Hello wife," he said smiling.
"Hello hubby," I said laughing.
"Oh just kiss each other already," Jin said.
He leaned in and kissed me one more time. Soon everyone came out and congratulated us.
