"Are you sure we should go? I mean Michael doesn't want us to go without him" Zayn whispers glancing to the five year old watching cartoons

"It's a phase, all kids have them at one point. It'll be fine" Liam assures him quietly. Zayn huffs, "Alright" Liam leans in kissing his forehead, when he pulls away the doorbell rings repeatedly

Liam sighs before heading into the room, he can feel his son's eyes on him as he opens the door. "Babysitters are here!" Louis shouts excitingly

"Why do you have to shout?" "Don't question me Payne, now where's Mikey?" Louis says sounding underneath his arm into the house

"I'm sorry, I keep telling him not to do that or else he'll get shot entering someone's house like that" Luke says as Liam moves to let him enter

Liam snorts, "Thank you, glad someone has manners" he shouts the last part loud enough for Louis to hear

As soon as he closes the door and goes into the living room, he sees Louis sitting on the floor next to Michael whispering

"Hey what's wrong with Mickey?" Luke asks, using his new nickname he gave Michael last week.

"The I don't want you to go without me phase" Luke winces, "That's rough, I still had that phase until I was eight" Liam chews on his bottom lip worryingly, "If he tells you anything, you'll tell me right?"

"Of course, Michael maybe isn't used to you two going out since Zayn moved in" Liam nods, "Maybe that's it" he says fiddling with his shirt.

Zayn comes in fixing his hair, "Alright we have to go, we don't want to be late for the movies"

Michael gasps, "Can I come?" He asks looking up at Zayn with his puppy dog eyes. "Sorry buddy, just me and daddy tonight"

"You have to go?" Michael asks pouting. Liam scratches the back of his neck trying to figure out what was wrong with his five year old.

"Cmon you'll have a bunch of fun with Lukey and me Mike" Louis encourages plucking his curls. Michael nibbles on his nail watching Liam and Zayn out their coats on

"Hey mike it's only for a few hours, they'll be back" Luke says rubbing his back. Michael nods chewing on his lip

"Alright buddy gimme a hug" Michael quickly gets up hugging Liam's leg tightly. "Aw my heart" louis says loudly holding his heart.

Liam snorts picking Michael up, "What's gotten into you today, you know we're coming back" "Okay" Michael says quietly, "okay, be good. Louis no scary movies, remember last time"

"Gremlins aren't scary Liam, right Zayn?" "I'm not in this" he sings kissing Michael's forehead. "Well Luke is, right Hun"

Louis turns his head to see Luke flipping the channel, "Luke!" "What?" "We're you listening?" Luke nods, "Of course"

"The hell did I say?" "You said something about you being a gremlin" he says earning a pillow in the face.

Michael covers his mouth giggling behind his little hand. "God sometimes I don't even know what to do with you," Louis says getting up. "Alright you kids have fun, don't do anything Luke and I would do" he says taking Michael out of Liam's arms

Michael pouts as Louis bids them goodbye standing in the doorway watching Zayn and Liam get in the car, oh his nightmare was starting to come true
