I wake up to a knock at the front door. I look over and Luke's still sleeping. I get up out of bed and leave the bedroom to answer it. When I'm going down the stairs, they ring the doorbell.

"I'm coming I'm coming." I mumble, obviously not loud enough for anyone to hear me.

I open the door and there he stands.

Michael Morgan.
My dad.

"Hey! How has my baby girl been?"

"I told you not to call me that."

"Oh sorry. Anyways, you're coming home."

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"No. I'm actually not. I don't want to. And even if I did, mom doesn't want me there."

"Well, I want you there. So come on."

"No!"

He grabs my wrist and starts to pull me out of the house but I don't let him.

"Come. On. We're going home!"

"No! Let me the fuck go!"

"Alexis Claire! Get in the car now! And stop trying to fight back! In just going to hold on tighter!"

"No! Mother fucker let go of me!"

"Ha. Luckily you don't have anyone to help you..."

But I do...

"Luke!" I yell.

"Luke?"

"Luke!" I yell again.

"You mean Dylan's friend from primary school?"

"Lucas!" I yell again.

Nobody's coming...

Why?

"Alexis... Is there even anybody here?" He chuckles.

"Yes."

"Where is he then?"

"Luke!" I yell one more time and I hear shuffling upstairs.

There he is.

"Luke please!!" I yell and my dad heard the movement too so he starts pulling me harder.

Then Luke shows up.

"Alexis what-" he cuts himself off when he sees the current situation.

"Hi Luke. Nice to see you again." My dad says and I give him a confused look.

"Hey Mr. Morgan."

"So, I'm just going to take Alexis home now."

"What?" Luke says in shock.

"She told me she wanted to go home. So I'm taking her."

"What are you talking about? Alexis, you wanted to leave?"

"What?! Luke no! I would never!"

"Alexis... That's fine. You can go. We'll talk later..." Then he walks off.

He gave up on me.

Just like that.

I give up on trying to stop my dad and he pulls me out the door and shoves me into his car.
