I wake up slowly to the steady sound of beeping. Confused, I open my eyes. Blinded by the light for a second, I let the adjust. Once they do, I look around the plain white room.

The hospital...

After realizing this, I also realize that the beeping source is my heart monitor.

I look down at my arm and notice that it's fully bandaged up.

I continue looking around the room until my eyes land on a bag of what seems to be clothes.

Then my head jerks to a door in the right corner of the room when the sound of a toilet flushing echoed throughout the room.

Then the door opens to a certain blue-eyed blonde haired boy.

"Luke." I sigh under my breath.

"Alexis! Oh my god baby!" He almost yells and walks up to the hospital bed I'm laying in.

"Hi."

"Hi. Oh my gosh hi. Hi. Do you need anything?"

"Um..." I start when I see him start to tear up. "Yeah."

"What is it Princess? Anything."

"You..."

"What?"

"I need you. Come here please?" I say, scooting over on the mattress.

He climbs under the blankets with me and I almost immediately snuggle into him.

"God. I missed you so much Lexi..."

"What happened?"

"Well... I mean... You don't remember?"

"I mean yeah. At least I think I do?"

"Okay. Well... We kinda got into a fight when I wanted to go out. I was acting really douchey and I deserve what you told me. I should be laying in the hospital. Not you. It's all my fault. I don't want to loose you like I lost my father. I really don't. I love you so much Alexis. You have to know and remember that. No matter what I may tell you in the future. I love you Alexis Claire. I love you so much." By this point, he's crying. And I don't mean tearing up. I mean crying.

"Okay Luke. It's okay. None of this was your fault. And I do know you love me. I really do. And I really love you too. And, it looks like you're going to be stuck with me for a little longer. Because I'm not going anywhere soon..."

"Okay Princess. Now we have to get some sleep."

"What time is it?"

"Um, maybe 2:30?"

"In the morning? Why are you up so late? Well, early?"

"I haven't really slept much at all since you've been out."

"And how long has that been?"

"About, I don't know. Two days?"

"Really?!"

"Yeah. Now sleep baby."

"Okay..."

The next morning, Luke and I wake up to the light knocking from who I'm guessing is my nurse.

"Come in..." I mumble groggily.

"Oh, good morning Alexis. It's nice to see you up. I'm Dr. Hood and I'll be taking care of you for the remainder of your stay here."
