The Bad Boy's Guilt is book two in The Bad Boys of Regret Hollow series.

The Bad Boy's Guilty is about Nicole and Wyatt. Nicole's car unexpectedly breaks down on her way to return to her hometown for her brother's wedding. The cop that comes to her rescue is Wyatt Truman, the guy that slept with her then dumped her in her teens to get revenge on her brother. Nicole has no choice but to accept his help but she knows betters than to trust him, especially with her heart, twice.

Wyatt is determined to gain Nicole's forgiveness and make amends. However, when he lays eyes on her, he can't help but want ore than forgiveness. In fact, his intentions are starting to resemble the forever variety.

If she can't avoid Wyatt, a one night stand might just be the thing Nicole needs to work him out of her system. Or will her supposed recovering plan destroy her heart once and for all?

Okay, I didn't read the first novel in the series but I didn't mind starting from here. I did notice right away that there wasn't necessarily a build up towards Nicole and Wyatt's relationship, it was just there. I didn't feel any chemistry between the two characters and I just found it so unrealistic that within two days these two characters (that have not met in 15 years) just ended up being together.

The blurb and cover is what drew me towards this novel but in the end this novel (and series) is just not for me. It fell flat and was, to me, missing a lot of important parts (i.e. what have they been up to since they last saw each other? ).
