Chapter 13 : Shattered

Gabby's (POV)

I was in my deep thought ng marinig ko ang marahang pagkatok sa pintuan. "come in" I said not leaving my gaze into the City Skyline na makikita through my Curtain Window. I'm having a hard thought and keep on wondering kung sino ang may kagagawan ng malaswang drawings sa mga units na inikot ko kanina. Kumukulo talaga ang dugo ko sa tuwing maaalala ko yun lalo na at hindi mapuknat-puknat sa isip kung ano ang mga nakita ko.

Lintik lang talaga kapag nalaman ko kung sino ang may gawa nun. Wala sa sariling naikuyom ang mga palad ko.

"Ms. Gabby, they are here" pukaw sa akin ni Cha pagkapasok nya ng pintuan.

"Okay, give me 10 minutes" sabi ko sa kanya ng hindi lumilingon makalipas ang ilang sandali ng pananahimik. Lumabas naman kaagad ito ng madinig ang sinabi ko.

I need to compose myself bago humarap sa mga taong ka-meeting ko. Kasi kung hindi baka mabibitbit ko ang bad mood na dala-dala buhat ng dumating dito sa head office. Importanteng kliyente pa naman ang mga ito. They are the Developer ng St. Regis Project and I am in the stage of closing this deal.

They stood up and extend their hands to greet me.

"Finally, nakilala ka din namin Ms.Gabby Sandoval. One of the pillars behind the successful GaSCON Construction" magiliw na bati sa akin ng isang lalaki na sa tingin ko ay ang Big Boss nila. Tantiya ko magkasing edad sila ni Daddy. He smiled genuinely at me while shaking my hands.

"I heard so many things about you, but i never thought na ganito ka kaganda in person. Their description I might say is underrated by saying that you are pretty . I think it's more appropriate to describe you as stunningly gorgeous Ms. Sandoval" dugtong nito matapos makipagkamay not leaving his gaze into mine.

"pardon me hija, I just cant help myself by admiring you. By the way, how was your Dad? " tanong nya.

"His doing good. Medyo busy po sa ilang family business at sa mga apo nya" sagot ko while smiling at him and then inalok silang magsi-upo. Afterwards, I went to Cha and Gary's side and seated in between them.

Ilang kamustahan muna nangyari before we proceed on discussing their agenda. They said they are really impressed on our company in the way we handled and finished all the committed Projects. Kaya nga raw hindi na sila nagdalawang isip na ibigay sa amin ang isa sa mga pipeline Projects nila.

After discussing the PEP, some issues and their condition's hindi rin nagtanggal at nagkapirmahan na ng kontrata. It's formalized. They awarded the St. Regis Project to us. Another milestone for our company and a big achievement for myself .

While the other members are signing the contract's patuloy pa rin ang pakikipagkwentuhan ni Mr. Gonzaga. Kung saan saan na nga napunta ang usapan namin dahil sa sobrang makwento nya na panaka-nakang hinahaluan ng pagka-kwela. I can not help it but to admire the old man. Andami dami nyang alam and i can see my father in him. Bigla ko tuloy namiss si Daddy.

When the documents were completed and after we hand over a set to them, i thought that is the que na tapos na ang meeting. Pero may inire-quest at ipinaalam si Mr. Gonzaga na ikinagulat at ikinabangon ng galit ko which of course hindi ko pwedebg ipahalata sa kanya dahil wala naman syang idea.

He opened up regarding their request to use MACRO walls for all the interior partitions of the buildings. I let him finished first what he was saying and when his done, i carefully explained to them that we already have partners for that particular item.
