A few small bites of mini filled doughnuts were enough to calm Anna's growling stomach as she got ready. She wasn't in the habit of eating large quantities but ate small meals often during the day to keep her body strong and healthy. She was hoping she was going to be able to do more than nibble her dinner. It was the burgers and crap food she had on the way down that was making her stomach sound like a cage holding fighting lions. She just hoped she wasn't going to have an embarrassing experience like farting in front of Jake.

The pills were safely tucked in her purse. Anna shut her bag and looked at the mirror which reflected a version of herself that she loved. Anna looked hot and she knew it as the confident smile on her face smirked back at her. The darker eye makeup, black jeans, and black long-sleeved shirt that hugged her body showed some curve to her form and a little cleavage that she hadn't exposed to Jake at Bryce's party. She felt like she had transformed into a completely different girl.

The diamond dragonfly barrette Anna added to her hair brought out the fine highlights that Harmony always made her get weaved through what Harmony called her 'mousy brown' color. Anna didn't mind, for she liked how the lighter shades brought out the unique green of her eyes. With the bright seafoam color in contrast to the black clothing, Anna felt sexy. She brushed her teeth then her lips to make them full before rinsing and applied one last layer of gloss.

A nervous flutter excited her stomach. Satisfied that there wasn't anything else she could do or change, Anna pushed her breasts together to readjust. She looked at herself one last time and smiled. Anna made sure she knew which side of her personality she was looking at. It was her and her other selves. Unseen sisters are what she called the made-up team in her head. Anna didn't have multi-personalities. That wasn't her diagnosis.

The minutes were starting to feel shorter as Anna was running a few minutes late. It wasn't intentional she was just trying to calm down her nervousness. Though she was bound and determined to be herself, without a wig on, Anna had less confidence because she didn't feel as much like an actress. If Anna had Harmony's confidence and experience, she could be a brilliant actress.

Anna just wasn't that bold as Harmony, unless she had a wig on. Tonight, she left her hair out of a wig and let its soft brown waves fall to her shoulders as she did for Bryce's party. This time Jake will get to see more of it, the real Anna.

"Be careful of that Anna." Anna reminded herself. Her voice was just barely an echo in the giant bathroom with high ceilings that extended throughout the cabin. She was so used to growing up in big spaces that on her island she might like her own smaller bungalow without Harmony or anyone but Jake to share it with. That would be cozy. Of course, it would have to be on the opposite side of the mountain of her Dad with only a path around the bend between their houses.

Not wanting to stall any longer, Anna grabbed her purse and headed down the path to the elevator. Immediately the cold weather kissed her skin. Snow lit up the night as if to fight the darkness and was bold in winning. The wedding white shade mocked the navy sky where the stars gazed as if watching their favorite movie.

The slick trip to the lobby of the lodge seemed longer than necessary. The paths down to the elevator were salted to melt the snow and give some traction but she walked carefully regardless because of the high heeled boots she was wearing. The last thing she wanted to do was break her neck before she had the chance to walk barefoot on the sands of her island. Anna caught herself holding her breath until a cloud of grey mist escaped past her full lips to remind her as a human she needed to breathe to live.

Anna was thankful many people had already eaten and made their way to their cabins for the night. It was late for dinner, and everyone that worked the resort knew Anna well, so she would have to be on her best behavior while in public. If any rumors spread to her father, it would flub up her whole plan and she would end up fighting Harmony for a stronger position on Diamond Island. There was only another hour left for dining before the restaurant closed and the staff's attention would focus on serving the last of the skiers getting settled in their cabins for more private nightcaps. That was plenty of time to get close to Jake.
