Anna left Jake for a few seconds only to return with a binder and magazine in her hands. She sat on the couch and set them on the table. Jake made his way back to the couch and fell ass first into it.

"I sometimes write mystery stories besides real life stuff. You see Jake, my passion is writing about everything I do, hence my online magazine and my garden. My garden has been in magazines other than mine of course. Here it is on the front page of a popular home magazine." Anna handed Jake the magazine and watched as his expressions change while he looked at the picture of a gigantic luxurious garden.

"It is like visiting in different cultures on one property they said." Anna read what was written under the picture to Jake.

"This looks familiar. I've seen this before." Jake said trying to recall where he had seen it. He was quickly taking in every detail of the giant landscape, feeling anxious but not sure why.

"Maybe your mom gets that magazine." Anna took the magazine back from Jake as he offered her to.

"Maybe." Jake replied looking momentarily confused. "I had a dream about this garden, but I can't remember what the dream was about. I will have to ask Stacy."

"How would she know?" Anna asked surprised.

"I tell her about all of my dreams." Jake said. He could have seen that picture anywhere like standing in a line at the grocery store. Jake looked at the date, the issue was from a year ago. Could he have subconsciously remembered it? His memory was just at the edge of where he has seen it before, and recently.

He laid back into the couch with his hands behind his head. Anna put one hand on his leg and was holding out his drink to him. Again, Jake took it but instead of drinking from it, he put it on the tall table behind the couch. Anna looked disappointed, but Jake had already had one sip of the strong blue drink. He really didn't want it with how he was already feeling, plus he was sore from his fall on the mountain, tired, and over sugared as it was.

"You have that much land behind your house? It looks like another world. That is incredible." Jake was again aware of how rich she must be.

"That was the whole point. It satisfies every mood, even if your mood changes, you can take several steps in any direction and get a different feel from another section."

"That would be a great place to hang out every day. Very relaxing, no wonder you don't go out much." Jake said wanting Anna's hand to move up his thigh. He blinked. Where had that thought come from, he wondered. His skin started to feel hot and he could tell his cheeks were turning red. It must be the fire from the fireplace he argued in his head. He tried to focus on what Anna was saying so that he didn't get excited and embarrass them both.

"My father was the one who got me interested in gardening. He started a basic design on paper with a big tree on the top of our hill where he next to it he set a giant carved wood chair that he bought and shipped back from Iceland. It's the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. The tree gripped onto it as it grew. It cradles your body and you get to look down the whole mountain as well as the valley. After it was installed, he thought everywhere around him was full of scenery, but the hillside he owned was bare. He then looked down, saw the little purple flowers growing around his feet and started a vision that has turned into a wonderland of plants and flowers, taken over by our gardener Mr. Foster and myself. I made the section on top of the hill around the tree for Daddy with the help of Mr. Foster's green thumb. It is Daddy's throne when he is home and mine when he is away." Anna giggled and moved her hand up his leg an inch.

It was almost an inch too much. Jake could feel the heat building between his legs and so he locked his fingers together on his chest. He wanted to touch her but he wasn't going to. His mind was fighting his body and only barely were his cold-water images winning. Scenes of the movie rushed through his head, which seemed to help. Anna was still explaining.
