"What is going on, Colin? You are scaring me. Please get up you're hurting me." Tessa begged in a whine.

He stared at her beautiful face and knew from the reaction of hers, she saw something wicked in his eyes. He lifted up from her to give her more comfort.

"That's so much complaining from such a little girl." He said. She had told him once that he made her feel tiny, regardless of her tall height. It was something she used to love. By the look on Tessa's face, there wasn't a loving recognition to the endearment. She didn't say anything because she wasn't sure how to understand or respond to his statement.

"Colin, why are you treating me like this?" Tessa asked. "Have you gone crazy?"

Colin laughed. "If I weren't in control of myself Tessa I would be in jail right now from the publicly violent death that would have erupted."

"What are you talking about violent death? Whose?"

"Yours my dear wife." Colin said calmly. He saw panic and guilt cross her face. She now knew this wasn't some kind of kinky game he wanted to play and for the first time showed numbing fear. She didn't cry out. She didn't scream. She just waited silently looking watchful. She is so beautiful he thought as he studied her. He could tell she was touching the taped wrists behind her back to see what was binding her. He reminded himself why he was here. Anger welled back into his system before weakness could take over.

"Colin, please tell me why you are doing this. Let me up right now." Tears gathered in Tessa's eyes.

"I had our son's DNA tested, Tessa." He said looking at her with a small cold smile on his face.

"Why would you do that Colin?" She asked genuinely shocked.

"You and I weren't together the week you got pregnant love. It is in my calendar." Colin felt Tessa stiffen again. He let his smile slip off his face as he tried to overcome the negative feeling her reaction caused. He knew it was time to get to the point.

"I feel we can be honest with each other." Colin said. Tessa was about to argue, but he put a black-gloved finger to his lips.

"Don't push me Tessa." He warned.

She started crying. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"When was it exactly Tessa? Who with? Did you sleep with anyone in our bed? Was it with any of my friends? Was it one of your friends?" His voice raised on the last question.

"Never!" It was during my trip. I felt rejected. Anna hates me and she gets all of the attention. You don't even care about me at all anymore especially when you are around her." Tessa started to cry as she raised her voice, almost yelling in panic.

Colin knew this game of hers all too well. This day he wasn't going to play it. Still using a calm voice he explained what he felt she didn't understand.

"There was also something else in your system Tessa. Why were you taking pain pills?" Colin asked.

"When I first got pregnant, I thought they might make my body reject the pregnancy because I knew it wasn't yours. That is what a friend of mine told me." Tessa said in an eerie calmness. It was the first time he truly felt she was being honest with him. He felt a darkness within him creep up for all he had lost and traded to have her and make her happy.

"You tried to rid of the baby yourself, but maybe you thought it wasn't working fast enough?"

"Yes, no. It was just a bad situation." Tessa said eyes glazing over a little.
