The mountains of Colorado were some of the most beautiful Kyle had seen and the ski lodge he was visiting wasn't disappointing to the area. The location was large and bountiful of trees, ski paths, and lodging with one large main building that stood proudly amongst it all. The weather was cold and snow had just fallen to give skiers a fresh fluff to play on.

Kyle had set up an appointment with Felicity Stevenson who had been working at the lodge during the same time that Tessa Fairfield was alive and in the picture. Felicity was the Concierge of the establishment currently so Kyle was hoping she would be able to provide him with what he was looking for. Kyle was led to a glass room which looked to be an office and the lady behind the perfectly organized desk looked up to those approaching. A tall lanky lady with her blond hair pulled up under a ball of curls greeted him with a beautiful inviting smile and an outstretched hand that introduced herself. A string of tiny diamond beads looped down and around the back of her shoulders that connected to each side of the classic glasses accentuating her hazel eyes. Her dress was expensive and complimentary to her position with a hint of sex appeal. She led him to a small café near the lounge and ordered them both a fancy coffee that Kyle didn't often get to indulge in. He pulled out his wallet and she waved him off telling him not to worry. He could have anything he liked for lunch as well. Kyle declined for he hadn't planned on being at the lodge that long and wasn't sure how his visited was going to be taken once they started talking.

"I am investigating a murder in my state of Washington and am checking on a family that might be in danger so I am getting all the information that I can before alarms are set off. I wanted to ask about Colin Fairfield and his wife Tessa Fairfield. Do you by any chance remember Tessa?" Kyle asked somewhat cautiously.

"Tessa, yes I remember her. She died when her daughter was only five years old." Felicity said.

"Yes, that is correct." Kyle said relieved that she remembered the case as well as the person. "Could you tell me a little bit about her history that you know it. What she was like, if she had friends or enemies, and maybe how long she was here?"

"Back then this resort was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Fairfield. Colin, their son, helped run it from the time he was little. Colin used to compete with his father in skiing contests that people started coming from all over the world. The competitions were really big here because the mountains are so great."

"Did Tessa compete in those competitions?" Colin asked. Felicity laughed.

"Oh God no, she wouldn't have dared. She was more the drink in the lounge and entertain the guests type of person." Felicity replied. Kyle got the impression there was tension in her voice when she talked about Tessa.

After Colin and Tessa got married, because of the ski resorts they owned, Tessa didn't need to work as a model anymore and chose not to. She used to order us around forgetting she once worked here also. Tessa was worse when she was pregnant and still partied like she wasn't. I was glad when Colin finally made her stay home at the end of her pregnancy. I hadn't seen much of Tessa but for a few times after their daughter was born. I was transitioning from level positions here so was busy with my work. Their daughter Anna was a beautiful little girl, but I don't think her mother liked the attention Anna took away from her. I know Colin used to travel with Tessa but not so much after she had Anna. She pretty much left to go to places by herself which is why it wasn't surprising they found her that way." Felicity said without much restriction. Kyle had the feeling that she didn't want Tessa to sound like a victim.

"I can show you pictures in our Hall of Fame hallway if you would like?" Felicity offered. Kyle thought he caught a glimpse of Jolene's face on a passing waitress. His heart skipped a beat. Kyle never ignored his signs if he knew better.
