Chapter: Please Say Yes?

We've been doing well for another two years now. We are getting ready for the last hurdles before finally graduating.

And we were both making random sketches, floor plans and blueprints for a house -- our house. She thought it was for a client, as I am being careful not to spoil my big surprise.

Nadine's POV

"Hey, what are you doing here this early time of the day?" nag-iingles na naman itong mokong na si James. He seemed very busy with a floor plan and trying to search the web with textiles and materials.

He is not even a licensed engineer and he's feeling super loaded?!

I was a bit annoyed so I raised an eyebrow and said, "Bakit ba? What are you now up to, Roberto?" Baka naman kung sinong client iyan.

He is now walking towards me. Akmang hahalikan niya ako ng harangan ko ang mukha niya ng palad ko, "Babe naman. You are scaring me...ang aga-aga pa. I was not expecting you."

At sino'ng ini-expect mo?!

"So you mean to say, okay lang na basta-basta ang susulpot sa bahay namin na walang pasabi, and I cannot because I'd scare you?" naiirita na ang tono ng boses ko. Huwag lang talaga akong galitin nang banyagang Aussie na ito. Hindi niya alam ang super powers ng babaeng nagpi-PMS.

He hugged me from the back. "Hindi...what I meant was, you surprised me a lot. And I was kind of busy sa project nating dalawa...di ba architectural designs yung assignment mo, Archi?" at ngumiti siya nang nakakaloko.

Inirapan ko siya. Aba't hindi niya ako madadaan sa mga pa-cute niya! Akala niya. "Hmmm..."1 at hinarap ko siya, "I forgot about it for a while. Na-bwisit kasi ako nang isang tao na ayaw pala ako rito."

Tumawa siya.

"Ano'ng nakakatawa, Mister?!" kumukulo na ang dugo ko.

"You look so cute. You should try to see the look in your face, by." at may kasunod pa talagang malulutong na HAHAHA.

Anak ng kwapang.

"Okay. Now, I think I really have to go before this..." tinuro ko yung kabuuan ng kwarto niya at siya mismo, "becomes a homicide." at binuksan ko yung pinto. He held me back by my hand and pulled me close to him.

"You..." his voice is deeper now. Naaamoy ko na halos ang mabangong hininga niya. Then he touched me by the jawline, tracing a line by his finger along it.

Napaatras ako. Walanghiya namang kagwapuhan, oh! "A-ano ha?!"

nagtatapang-tapangan ka na naman, Nadine.

"You are not going anywhere..." his voice was too sexy, I wanted to run.

Sisipain ko talaga tong taong ito.

He pulled me close to him. I know I want to run, but the wall behind me is an excuse I want to tell myself. "J-James..." that was all I have said before he kissed me on the lips lovingly.

We were almost into making out when suddenly my phone rang.

Salamat at saved by the cell!

Pero aminin...parang ano. Diba?
Tumigil ka diyan.

Eh kasi naman ang hot ng baby love mo kaya ka napapaano.
Naaano?!

Wala po. Wala. Masungit talaga kapag nagpi-PMS, mga ka-OJD.
