Chapter 48

Diamond

I stood next to the big whole in the ground as Royale's casket was getting lowered into it. This was my second funeral in three weeks that I had been attending. It was a closed casket because Royale's body was all burnt up from the fire the Russians put him in. Royale wasn't big on family so it was just me and my soldiers at his funeral. A couple baby moms that I had no idea about showed up and it pissed me off just to look at them. I didn't cry not one tear for Royale. All I wanted to do was hop in the hole and thank him. Royale had made my dreams come true when it came to my place in the drug game. I just stood there listening to a fat lady that we hired to sing when I looked over at the streets of Inglewood to see a long black limo slowly driving up the block. I knew that it had to been Faustin. I glared at the limo remembering what he had done to me in the back of the van almost four weeks ago. I looked over at Gin who was watching the limo too. All of my soldiers looked back and saw it riding up the block. The woman even stopped her singing and watched the limo also. It started to speed and the windows rolled down. Next thing I knew, big guns were being pointed out of it and bullets were being fired at us. I screamed and ducked down. My soldiers automatically started to shoot their guns and I snatched my gun from my purse and started to shoot also. It was more of us than them so us shooting made them roll their windows back up and zoom away. Gin grabbed my arm and yanked me to his car. My soldiers began to hop in their cars and we headed out. Royale had to get buried with no one there at the end of his ceremony. I thought it was sad, but he brought it upon himself. Gin drove me to Beverly Hills and my soldiers pulled up behind me and began to guard the house. I ran upstairs to what used to be me and Royale's old room and went into my walk in closet. I started packing suit cases and travel bags full of my clothing. I had my soldiers help me with all of my shit as I began to leave the house. They followed me back to my town house and waited for me to pack my clothes that I had there. I then put Royale's mansion and pent house on the market a few weeks later. My soldiers guarded my town house for weeks until the mansion had finally been sold. I made millions of dollars and cleaned out Royale's bank account. I had made sure there was no money left in that mansion. Including all of his safes and secret spots even his legal money from owning a liquor company back in the day which made him rich. I cleaned out money from his pent house, took all of his weapons, and coke, and I had been crashing at my town house. The pent house finally got taken off of my hands and I felt like I could move on now. I grabbed the money that I had stashed away in Santi's underground and put it into my accounts. I didn't miss a beat. I wasnt leaving behind one cent unless it was for Santi. Saying good bye to him was already hard enough. I stayed for a good thirty minuets trying not to hurt him as I explained me moving away. I hugged him for what seemed like a long while and he watched me leave with sadness in his eyes. With the millions of dollars I now owned, I put it all in the bank and split it evenly within the three accounts that I had. I had got done taking care all of my business in LA so I felt like it was time to go. Now that Faustin won the war between him and Royale, I was about done with the beefing and just wanted to get up out of LA. I had traded in my old Lexus and sold all of Royale's cars making myself even more money. I went out and bought myself a glossy, black dodge that I only drove around for a few days. On the day that it was time to go, I drove around with Gin telling me where to go and we ended up at huge parking lot. There was a huge dark Grey helicopter sitting in the middle of it. My mouth dropped with excitement. A fat, white guy jumped down from it and walked over to us. He shook my hand. "Hi, you must be Diamond". He said. I had second thoughts about shaking his hand, but I did anyway. ''I'm Larry''.

"Yeah, I'm Royale's new face". I said.

"Good to know. Now I charge a good four thousand dollars. It depends on where you want me to fly you".
