Emmett
The boys were right. I loved Vanessa and would be stupid to lose her. I decided I missed her and wanted to hold her in my arms. When I got to her house and knocked, she came to the door looking annoyed.
I chuckled."Damn, is presence really that bothersome?"
Vanessa smiled."No, but you're preventing me from doing homework that I really don't want to do."
I tilted my head, confused. "You're welcome?"
I moved to come in and Vanessa put her hand on my chest.
"What?"
"Oh no, you don't. You're only gonna distract me."
I smiled and donned an innocent look. I grabbed her hand and slowly brought it to my lips, placing light kisses on her palm.
"Distract you? Whatever could you mean?"
"See, this is what I mean!" Nessa whined.
"I'll be on my best behavior, promise. "
"You better! I will put you out, you know!"
I chuckled and threw my arm around her. We snuggled up. on the couch and I watched Tv while Nessa did her homework. It was nice. It felt like this was where I was supposed to be and I was glad that the guys had talked me into leaving the party.
