Chapter Thirty Seven: The Twentieth Cermony

Victoria's P.O.V

"What happened?" Alicia asked as she sat on the bed beside me.

"He was cheating on me"

I came to visit a couple of times before and I told her everything about my relationship with Sean.

"But I thought he loved you" she said.

"I thought, too"

"Why don't you go for a horse ride?" She suggested "Victoria, it's been two week and you haven't been out your room" she said "Just take Sebastian for a ride"

"I don't want to go anywhere, Alicia" I said "I can't believe he did that"

"As you like" she stood up "I'm going to leave you, then"

"Okay" I said with a crocked smile.

As she closed the door behind her I heard a knock on the window.

"What are you doing her?" I asked.

"Isn't it Friday?" He said "Come on. Arnold opened the gates"

I sat on the grass in front of the waterfalls, just staring at the running water.

"Did he call you?" Charles asked.

"A million times" I said "But I didn't answer"

"And of course you won't"

"What do you think?" I asked sarcastically "He was cheating on me"

"But the look in his eyes, when he begged you to stay"

It wasn't like I've ever seen before. The need, the love, the warmth of his eyes.

"No man can beg a woman to stay unless he is madly in love with her"

"And no man would cheat on a woman unless he is badly bored of her"

"He said he was drunk"

"And you believed him?" I cried "It's his usual excuse"

"The look in his eyes was truthful" he said "Victoria, Sean loves you"

"He told you to say that?!"

"He came to me for help" he said "I didn't help him, but it was enough to prove his love for you" he sighed "You need to forgive him"

"Can we just change the subject?"

"They applied for X Factor, you know that?!"

"They're gonna win" I said "They are so good"

"Your cermony is in a week?!"

"Yes" I said "There audition, too"

"See, you're thinking of them"

"I'm going back to castle"

The week was the worst week of my life, but the best of my mother's life. She took the chance to teach me all about being a princess again.

"Come in" I answered the door.

"Hey, dear" dad sat on the bed "Are you sure about what you're doing?"

"About what?"

"Going down?!" he said "I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do"

"The Queen will probably kill me"

"Don't pay her attention"

"I'm sure about going down, dad" I said "Don't worry about me"

"Okay" he stood up "I'll leave you to dress up"
