Nothing Can Go Right

(YAY I AM GOING TO CONTINUE THIS FANFIC, I AM SO EXCITED!!!)

Katelyn's POV

When I wake up, Travis is no where to be seen. Rubbing my eyes, I sit up and look around for that whiff of his silver hair or his emerald eyes, but I don't see any sign of him. Where did he go? I pick up my phone and see if I have any notifications, but there is only a text from Lucinda that says, I know how to change you back. Suddenly, I gasp, worried that Travis went to go see Lucinda and that someone saw him or worse... Lucinda used another love potion on him... NO! THAT DOESN'T MATTER, I DON'T LIKE TRAVIS!!! But I swing my door open anyway and throw on a sky blue jacket. I put the hood over my head to disguise my ears and I stuff my tail uncomfortably into my shorts. Okay, now to find Travis... I look around rapidly, but there is only Garroth and Laurence screwing around in their front yard while Dante sits up in the tree next to their house, holding his phone. I ignore Garroth and Laurence, but steal one last glance at them to see if this is a Garrance ship moment... What? I ship it hard! Anyway, I go over to Dante and call up to him,
"Dante, what the heck are you doing, you idiot?!"
"Oh, hello, Katelyn!" he replies in that annoying voice of his. Once him and Nicole started becoming a thing, I half want to cut down that tree as he sits in it... but instead, I groan and ask,
"Have you seen Travis?"
"Travis?" Dante strokes his chin, "hmmm, no... Why?" then Dante smirks and narrows his eyes, "Is it because you like him?!" I get so angry at that question, that I kick the tree with all of my might and Dante yelps and falls off the branch he was sitting on, landing flat on his face. "O-owww..." Dante moans and lifts his head, revealing that his nose is bleeding.
"Omigosh, DANTE!" I hear someone shout and unfortunately, Nicole comes rushing over. Dang, she saw that?! This day already sucks enough, but now my best friend is going to hate me?!
"I'm o-okay..." Dante sits up. "I probably deserved that..."
"No you didn't." Nicole gives me a death glare, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!"
"He-"
"NO! I KNOW THAT YOU DON'T LIKE DANTE, BUT YOU HAVE TO RESPECT MY OPINION, KATELYN, OKAY?!" Nicole shames me loudly and turns back toward Dante. Nothing can go right today... ugh... I walk away from the scene and just decide to go home. If I can't find Travis now, I have no clue where he is... wait... I turn around and look in the direction of Jefforey's house and see Travis and Jefforey talking, Abby is right at her father's legs. Travis is holding some beautiful blue orchids. Nearing them, I begin to hear their conversation...
"Don't bother," Jefforey huffs, "you won't be able to guess."
"I bet I'm close," Travis says, clearly annoyed, "and at least I don't need to ask her!" Then I notice that Travis has his hood up too, covering his cat ears. His tail must be stuffed in his pants somehow. "And I'm going to ask her."
"Ask me what?" I ask, coming over. Jefforey and Travis stare at me with wide eyes, not saying anything.
"K-K-Katelyn..." Travis breathes, "I thought you were asleep still..."
"I know I sleep in, but it's like 11:30. I don't sleep in that late."
"I knew that..." Jefforey mutters under his breath. Travis ignores Jefforey and comes up to me. He holds out the orchids, smiling nervously as he hands them to me delicately.
"There is nothing more mewtiful than you, Katelyn..." Travis murmurs to me, still saying some words like a cat. "but I wanted to give you something close."
"Aww, thanks, Travis!" I smile. That is so... ugh... cute... WHY DO I THINK HE IS CUTE?!
"No p-problem... Now I have a question for mew..."
"Yeah?"
"Katelyn..." Travis takes a deep breath, "will you be my girlfriend?"
