Chapter 18:

Kalin

I watched as Liz read the card and her nose scrunched up. She looked confused overall.
I grabbed the card and read it.

Who is s supposed to be?

"Do you know anyone with a name that starts with a S?" I asked.

"Um there was this dude I used to go out with. His name was Sebastian but he wouldn't hurt a fly. He was a sweet guy plus I think he has a girlfriend." She told me and I nodded.

"What about you?" She asked. I sighed and rubbed my temples.

"The way I was before, my player ways there is no telling if I did hook up with somebody that name starts with a S." I looked up and seen a frown on her face.

"Hey, we'll figure this out. Okay?" She gave me a small smile and nodded.

"I'm going to go take a shower." She informed me. She walked away and went up the stairs.

I turned my attention back on the package. There was two onesies, one was blue and the other was pink.

I lifted both of them up and another note was at the bottom.

Just imagine Kalin, how it would be if it was me and you. If I was the one pregnant with your child and not that bitch. We would have the best life ever, but I won't go much into detail. Just know I'm watching y'all. Love you!

What the hell? Why does this have to happen to us?

I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck. How am I going to tell Liz that I'm the reason we have a crazy ass stalker stalking us? I'm the reason she's going to be in danger.

I will promise something though. I'll always protect her and my unborn child, no matter what the cost is.

I wouldn't be able to live with me knowing that I could have protected her but I didn't.

I looked down at the note and crumpled it up into a small ball and threw it away with the rest of the stuff.

I won't let anything happen to them, anything.
