 An Alpha's Daughter's crush could he be the one

 Mel's Pov

 I am a typical teenager, but not the pretty popular kind. I'm very,

very shy which everyone can't understand why as I'm the Alpha's

Daughter. I have long brown hair and green eyes, but not the bright

green, they’re just dull as they lost their sparkle last year, but you

will find out later why. I was the smallest in the pack for my age

only 4ft 9 which is unusual for us werewolves .

I do have friends but not many, but as I always say I would rather

have one true friend then loads that pretend to be your friend.

I go to Shamthorpe High in La, it's like all schools except only

werewolves go there.

Our pack is called Star pack and we are the biggest pack in America.

There is also another pack that are close by that attend our

school as well. They are called Rain pack.

“Rennie's here!” Mum shouts. I run down the stairs, grab my bag and

shout “bye all love you” and run out the door to see Rennie standing by

her car looking as beautiful as ever. Oh how I wish I could be her,

everyone loves her; she has long dark brown hair - hazel eyes 5ft 9

with the perfect body. She is really bubbly and so much fun to be with,

we have been best friends since forever.

I have had a crush on this boy in our pack for 3 years now but I know I

don’t stand a chance; he is the typical blonde hair blue eyed hunk his

name is Tyler. I have never really talked to him or told anyone

because I know they will laugh at me like i would stand a chance with

him when he has the choice of any girl in our town. Next week is his

sixteenth birthday which means he will find his mate .I have been so

worried as for the last 3 years I’ve hoped and dreamt it would be me

but I know it’s not; but a girl can dream . He has a girlfriend, her name

is Corrie she is also in our pack she is really nice but I can’t help

but feel jealous of her as she has the only boy i have ever liked. I

just can’t seem to get it out of my head. I've been thinking of telling

Rennie to see if that helps as we always tell each other everything.

This is the first thing I’ve ever kept from her but what can I say that

won’t make me look stupid or make her think for the last 3 years i have

not told her, my best friend?

I give her a hug like every day we meet and put a false smile on

hoping she doesn’t see through it but not this time.
