Chace paced impatiently around the room as his mother watches with a frown of her own. He huffed like an angry boar and stomped towards the table.

"UHH!!" With one sweep, all the contents on the table were now on the floor. "YOU PROMISED ME!"

"Honey I know.." Queen Natalie came over to his son and rubbed his shoulders to calm him down. He brushed her hands off roughly. "Then where is it, huh? Tell me. Where's the throne that you promised me?!" She sighed and cooed him some more. "Patience, my son. It'll all be yours in time." She kissed his forehead and held his face in both her hands.

"You're my son, and the rightful heir. And you will have what you want." He calmed down a little after the queen had assured him. He looked her dead in the eyes. "He can't have the things I don't have. If I can't have them, I'll destroy everything he has."

"He has nothing on you. Who is he to even challenge you??" She narrowed her eyes hatefully before smiling fondly at her son. "Now, all you have to work on is impressing your father. You can leave everything else to me." He begrudging nodded his head and rushed out of the room. The queen then strolls towards the glass window and her reflection revealed the raw ambition behind her eyes.

Victoria's POV
"Mom.. Don't you think you're spending a little too much..?" She put the clothes down and glared at me. "Oh shut it, darling. You refused to let me dress you in the past, so now you have to let me. Be a lamb and change into these will you sweetie." She threw the clothes into my arms and I secretly rolled my eyes once my back was turned.

This was what we did for our weekends... Shopping. Although I was a little scared at first to be out in the open, and among so many humans in London. However it proved to be a safer choice than being in a secluded forest. Mom was skittish at first, but the constant begging for her to let me out of the house led to this. Seeing her right now, I don't know whether to be regretful or glad of my choice back then.

I tried the fur coat with a black turtleneck top and black skinny jeans. The clothes were all more colorful and more diverse in style than what I wore a year before. But I liked the change. It was like leaving my past behind. I came out of the dressing room and passed the staff the ones I chose and mom was pleased with it as well.

After that, we went for shoes, bags, accessories and make ups. We did a thorough shopping spree, like always, and went back to our apartment around 9pm. I kept the clothes in my wardrobe and it was starting to pile up. There was a stack of clothes for spring seasons, and winter seasons. Of course, we brought the spring collections during clear out sales previously, since it's February already.

Everything was there, from playsuits to dresses, crop tops to sleeved blouses, jeans, skirts, leather and denim jackets, jumpers, dungarees. Also, different kinds of heels, ankle boots, long boots, flats, sandals, and of course bags and accessories. It was like a color platter of blue, jade green, dark red, black, yellow, white, beige etc.

I organized the clothes and shoes tidily before closing my room, feeling satisfied. I jumped on my mom and hugged her from behind. "Thanks mom." She giggled and then hugged me back. "Clothes for women are like armors for men. So use them, and dress up for goodness sake." She laughed heartily, and I joined in. I can't help but feel rejuvenated after some shopping therapy.

The next morning, I sneaked out of the house while my parents were out for work. This basically went on ever since I met Ice, 3 months ago. Yup the white wolf who saved me from the rouges. Since he didn't wanted to speak to me, I gave him a name for convenience sake. It's odd how he just accepted me as a elemental wolf though.. But he's the first friend I made here in London.
