Dear Father,

you shout, yell, and blame

drive me insane

it's a shame

you can't see the same

you can't listen

because you won't let yourself hear

you can't understand

because you won't let yourself see our fear

I won't try to make you see

anymore; I won't be

the one to set free

the demon in you again.

I'll go back to my room again

and cry out my soul again

pieces of me falling out like raindrops again
