Colorblind Eyes

Colorblind eyes
Thin skin, bone tight
Slim, pale, and tall.
Crooked, slender fingers
Hugging her own waist.
Straps, no sleeves
Flower pattern
against white china skin.
Big eyes containing a vast
Colorful ocean that they see.

Colorblind eyes fluttering
See no lies.
She whispers "I see you."
And they say "who do you see?"
"Well, you, of course."
"But who am I?"
"You."
Grandly simple. Simply grand.

Colorblind eyes
And a thin, sweet smile.
Fragile and rare
Is she.
Holding herself close
She longs for something to hold
So she holds the world in her hands.
Never knowing that
There is no one better
To do so.
Colorblind eyes
See no lies.
