"Are you going to be okay to go into work today? I can call Ann and tell her you're not feeling well. I'll take your clients for you" Selena asked Mercy over the phone. It was Monday morning and Mercy was still a little heartbroken. 

"No it's okay. I have a lot of clients today. I'll be fine. I'll see you at the shop" Mercy told her. They both hung up and Mercy went into Marjae's room. This week was Mercy's week to take the kids to daycare. Mercy still had to go to the post office and mail those petition forms. She wants the process to be over by the time school starts. 

The lady who gave her the forms told her that the probate court hearing is usually a week after the forms have been handed in. If the probate court hearing goes well then Mercy can apply Zion for the daycare that Marjae and Trell are going to. This year is Marjae's first year in pre-K and Trell's second year. 

When Mercy walked into Marjae's bedroom, both of the kid's were still asleep in Marjae's bed. Both of their backs were turned towards each other. Mercy walked over to the bed and lightly shook the kids. Marjae is a light sleeper so it's easy to get her up. After a few shakes, Marjae was up. Now Trell is a different story. He's a heavy sleeper just like his father. 

After about ten failed shakes, Mercy picked him and walked to the bathroom. The bright light in the bathroom woke him and he was brushing his teeth. Mercy helped the kids brush their teeth and wash their faces. 

After getting the kids fed and dressed, Mercy sat them in the living room while she got dressed and ready. 

She already brushed her teeth and washed her face, she just had to get dressed. Mercy decided on a pair of Wolf Blue overalls, an Abercrombie & Fitch Camp Graphic Ringer Tee, a pair of white Nike Huaraches, a pair of Gold Aviator sunglasses with Clear Lenses, and Forever21 stud earring set. Finishing her outfit off with Lime Crime Wicked Velvetine Liquid Lipstick.

Selena had put her hair in two feed-in cornrows the night before, so Mercy didn't have to do anything to her hair. She just took off the scarf and admired the baby hairs she slayed with a simple toothbrush and her good ole' Gorrila Snot gel. 

After getting dressed and grabbing everything she needed for today, Mercy went downstairs. The kids were still where she left them. "Come on y'all" Mercy called to the kids. Trell turned off the TV and hopped off the couch along with his cousin.

"So Mercy, tell me about this idea you have" Ann Marie asked. Mercy was sitting in her chair waiting for Selena to get done with her client so they can both go off to lunch. Mercy's next client wasn't until 2, so she had two hours to kill. 

"Okay, this idea honestly was inspired by prom to be honest and AnthonyCuts. Staci was telling me how her friend's daughter spent about damn near $300 to get her hair done and her face beat, not including the cost to get the bundles. So in my mind, I was thinking that how about we just include that service here. But it has to be scheduled. You know do their hair and then beat their face for them. But don't make it as expensive."

Ann Marie thought about the idea. She actually liked that idea. "Yeah we can do that. We do need to add something new around here honestly. I'll go over it with Staci and we can get everything set up"

"Yes, because I would love that!" One of the girls under the dryer said, making all of laugh.
