Yang stands in the dorm bathroom looking into the mirror. I sigh escapes her lips. Her hands make there way up to the top of her head. She moves her hair out the way. A pair a blonde ears get unclip from her get head and stand at the top of her head.
See yang had clipped her ears to her head so no one would know that she is Faunus. She was always told no one would love her if she showed them, and she listened to them. Only her sister Ruby knows about them. Ruby has told her she shouldn't hide them but yang doesn't listen.
Her mother was a shapeshifting Faunus, witch meant she could become her Faunus animal. Yang was also one but she didn't learn how to shape shift. Shapeshifting Faunuses were very rare but not extinct.
Yangs animal was a Lion. With that she had the power of a lion and the speed. Whenever her animal side takes over her eyes go red. people think it is because of her semblance so she never corrects them. Her hair is her mane. That's why it is so precious to her.
yang doesn't hate being a Faunus she just doesn't like the abuse that comes with it, so for her it is better for her to cover and hide them. she's ashamed that she dose it but what other choice dose she have
