They found a small cave, but it was also getting colder each minute "Levi... I'm tired" Destiny mumbles trying to stay awake "Sleep, we'll leave first thing in the morning" he says crossing his arms, her injuries were worse then they seemed, she couldn't walk anymore, he just hoped she wouldn't die, he stares at the tree covering the cave and horses from the sight of Titans and he sighs, he didn't want to remember how Isabel and Farlan died, but why was that happening "I need to stop thinking" he mumbles as he closes his eyes slowly falling asleep, but that didn't help much.

"Levi!" a girl with white hair and bright red eyes yells as she hugs him "I got you a present" she says putting the box on his head, he takes it and sighs "Calm down, you're acting like you'll never see me again" he says, Farlan enters the room followed shortly by Isabel "Tired" the other girl says, but her eyes lit up seeing Destiny and she tackles the girl into a hug "Ah she brought it" Farlan says while Levi opens the box to see a sharp dagger "We have matching ones" Destiny says smiling brightly, the dagger was slightly curved and the handle red with gold "Why me of all people?" Levi says making Farlan chuckle "It's obvious she likes you Levi, she probably wants to make sure you never forget her"

The bright sunlight wakes him up and he stretches, sleeping in a cave never was good, but they didn't have a choice, he looks at Destiny and lightly shakes her "Wake up, we have to go", however he frowns when he doesn't get a reaction, he checks for a pulse and mumbles "I have to take her to Hanji, quickly", so he picks her up and leaves.
After travelling for a while he catches up with the others "Erwin!" he calls making the commander look at him and he signals for a stop "Destiny needs help, she got worse overnight" Levi says, this makes Hanji junp from her horse to take the girl and put her in the cart with a few other injured soldiers "Let's go home then" Erwin says as Hanji gets on her horse again. It didn't take long to reach the wall and the slow down "They're back, with less casualties then expected" a few people say, luckily Levi could block them out and continue, he was still pondering about that dream he had, he didn't have a dagger, so he'd have to ask Erwin. At HQ all the injured people are at the infirmary "Erwin, do you have a dagger with a red and gold handle?" Levi asks as they walk towards the commander's office "Yes, two actually, I took Destiny's dagger away after she nearly killed you with it" Erwin says and asks "Why the sudden question?" "Last night I think I remembered a little bit" Levi says, though he obviously wasn't going to let it bother him too much "If that's the case shouldn't you see how she's doing instead of talking to me?" "Can't until everyone is taken care of" Levi mumbles, wondering why he was so worried about her. Once he's allowed to visit he goes in and looks at everyone else, they looked pretty bad "Oh hey" Destiny says seeing him "How are you feeling?" he says sitting on the bed "Hanji forbids me to do training, cleaning and more, I am allowed to leave tomorrow though" she says sitting up "But I suppose that's what I get for trying to get myself killed" she mumbles looking down "But you would never remember me anyway" she says as tears form in her eyes "That's not true Des, it's just that... after Isabel and Farlan died I kinda blocked every memory with them in it" Levi says and he gives her one of his rare smiles while patting her head "So just focus on getting healed okay?" he asks earning a slight nod "And one more thing, don't even dare to think about dying out there" he says before getting up and leaving. "Don't be so down Destiny, at least he's being nice to you again" Hanji says walking over with some papers in her hand "And you can't expect him to remember instantly" she adds earning a nod "I know Hanji, but still... He could have died saving me" Destiny says and she pulls her blanket over her after laying down "I wonder what he remembered though" she mumbles as she falls asleep.
The next day she's walking/limping to the mess hall "Look who's up, the one who tried to kill herself" Jean says walking past, but the short girl grabs his shirt, but her arm is grabbed when she wants to punch him "Don't waste your energy on him" Levi says and Destiny lets Jean go "Yeah I guess" she says, but smiles slightly when Levi kicks Jean instead "Have some manners" he says walking to the table where Erwin is "Come on Destiny" Mikasa says picking the girl up "I can walk!" the white haired girl says, but Mikasa puts her down on the bench before sitting next to her "You have to take it easy" Eren says with a chuckle. "I don't want to take it easy" Destiny says taking a bite from her bread, that Armin had gotten for her "Seriously I'm fine" "You look fine, but your temper is getting worse" Eren says earning a glare. After breakfast, since everyone has a day of, Erwin suggested they'd go into town or see their families "You are coming with me" Levi says standing in front of Destiny, who was planning to sleep the entire day since she was still tired. "Why?" Destiny asks looking at him blankly "I need to buy new cleaning supplies and Hanji is busy with whatever she's doing at the moment" he says and adds "And I am not taking no for an answer" "Fine then, let me change into something else first" Destiny says and she walks of, she walks back once she's done and she asks "Why me anyway?" "Because..." Levi trails of, not able to find a reason at the moment "Ah you don't know" Destiny says and she sighs, but they head of anyway "By the way..." Destiny trails of and she looks at Levi "I still don't get why you are trying that hard for me" "I don't like pointless deaths" he says, they get what they need and on their way back a group of guys stop them "That's a pretty girl you have with you" one of them says and Levi looks at them blankly "Uh... you don't wanna get this guy angry" Destiny says, but one of them grabs her wrist rather roughly "Let her go you scum" Levi says and he calmly puts the bag down "Or what, shorty?" another one asks, but Levi cuts him with his dagger and he kicks the one holding Destiny "What's going on here?" a Military Police soldier says and Levi puts the dagger away "They started it, trying to kidnap Destiny here" he says putting an arm around the girl "I see, they really never know when to stop, we'll take care of these guys" another soldier says and Levi picks up the bag again and he nods before walking of "Thanks" Destiny mumbles "That guy had the guts to hurt you even more" Levi says mentioning to her arm "Could it be that you remember something?" she asks earning a slight nod and she smiles a little "That's good, but let's go back" she says and they walk back to HQ.
