"Where are we going?" I ask Soryu once again as he continues to drive and as I look at my surroundings, the buildings blurring past me. Soryu seem a bit distressed in the lounge. I wonder what's going on through his mind? He doesn't answer and continues driving.

Then we enter a cemetery and he says, "I want to show you something." I grow nervous for some reason, even though I feel like I know why we're here. It's still day time, hopefully nothing sketchy happens. Soryu parks the vehicle and we both get out, walking up a small hill and stop beside a tree.

The tombstone we look at makes me snicker for some reason. "Wow, you guys weren't lying." I reach out and touch the tombstone. "Reina Michelle Valdez June 27, 1993 - June 15, 202*" I snicker again. "I died a week and a half before my birthday." I say, amused. "Some kind of early birthday gift. That person must've really hate me... Whoever that was."

"You remember?" Soryu asks, frowning.

"No, I was just told I got in a car accident and hit my head badly." I answer, the wind blowing my hair softly. The rustle of the tree branches bring noise to the quiet cemetery. "So far, my life now has been great." All the things I've done like being one of the main heads of the Black Crowns gang and all the great things the gang has done and achieved comes to mind, including Jason. (a/n: aka Reddy. sorry i changed his name)

"So you prefer this one than the one you had?" I meet Soryu's stern stare.

"I must've done some really bad things back then for someone to almost kill me." I say, half chuckling. Even though Soryu always has a serious facial expression, you can sometimes tell when something's wrong with him. "What?"

"You said you remembered something about us when we were younger once," He pauses. "Was that bad, too?" The same image as before of a little boy and a little girl, outside reading a book together comes briefly to mind. I had almost forgot. That is what helped me trust Soryu and I'm over here saying meeting him wasn't a good thing.

"I-I didn't mean it like that." Guilt swells up inside of me. I can see a hint of sadness in his eyes. "I-I'm sorry, Soryu. The only thing I remember of us two when we were younger is us outside, reading a book and that's it." I say. That's all I can remember, it's what he made me remember on the morning when he was supposed to be a one night stand.

That morning, Soryu confessed his love for me and made me remember a few things. Soryu is keeping me by his side because he loves me and the sad truth is the feeling isn't mutual. I think I only "love" him because of what he said, but in reality, I just want my memories back. I'm not the same anymore, even if I do fall in love with him it won't be the same. Soryu is looking in me for what we once had and I don't know if I can give that to him.

"It's okay," He comes closer to me. His gaze is now softer than before. "It's just..." He sighs. "Forget it. Let's go somewhere else."

"You'll pay for this, you bastard!" A sharp blade glints as I hear a scream in the busy shopping district of Japan. Soryu and I were enjoying a walk around Japan to see if anything would trigger me when suddenly a man appeared wielding a knife.

"Get back, Reina." He stands in front of me to shield me as he glares at the man. I instinctively feel offended, knowing I can take care of myself. I push my pride aside and  look around for any of his backup. "Who do you work for?"

"Shut up! Because of you bastards, our gang has... has... You won't get away with this!" The man charges at Soryu, who deftly evades him and lands a swift kick on him. The man groans loudly and crumples to the ground.
