Destined

chapter seven

We were just laughing at the old days where we hated each other,it was crazy how we always argued and made Henry decide whom he would rather be with,we had just ordered ice cream from oliie cream shop and we sat down on one of the booth enjoying our snack .

"I can't believe I blamed you for his death," he said laughing and I nodded, yeah he really made a big deal from that.

"Am just glad we ended that grudge we had for each other." I replied laughing too.it true when Henry died , we grew close,even hugged. Ew for at first it was awkward alright.but afterwards we stopped talking to each other and I build a wall to prevent any communication from my family,my friends and Garcia only Nicholas was my friend.

"To say the truth I was jealous that he found you before me...yeah its true so the only way I could get your attention was to make you angry and you know you looked beautiful when you were angry which you still do." He said and I was totally speechless even when I opened my mouth nothing came out but I hoped he understood I was shocked.

"Am confused," I said finally speaking and he laughed nervously of course he wanted to hear my part of the conversation."My reaction towards you was the opposite but after Henry left us I realized I was being  childish arguing with you,and I also knew that Henry wouldn't be happy where he is right now if we were still enemies so I let go what we had and started liking you for a change,"I said being honest about it,I liked it when he smiled and I looked at my halfway finished ice cream vanilla flavored, my favorite.

"Am glad you told me that,so tell me is someone seeing a dude or even dating for a change?" He asked and I blushed

"Of course not, she thinks its too early," I responded and he gave me an stunned look. I know he thinks that am joking along with him

"Why, its been a year and three months for her come on,its time to move on dear." George encouraged me and I looked at him,our eyes met and locked he was being sincere and I nodded.

"What about the dude ,is he dating too."I decided to play along with him.

"Yeah ,why wouldn't I"he responded and I almost dropped my ice cream.

"Really,"I replied not believing my ears.

"Nah ,am just messing with ya"he said laughing ," but now am searching,think you can wish me luck ." And I poked him,causing him to laugh more." I guess you are right ...oh my gosh am late already." I hesitated standing up and George placed the money on the table and followed me.

"Late for what?" He asked pacing behind me.

" Picking  Eddie,I always drop him and pick him up since mom is busy and Alicia is well, is still the Alicia we know, but I do all this because Eddie is my favourite person in the world ," I said opening the passengers door then threw my key at him."you don't mind driving  do you?"I asked and Garcia nodded as we got in the car and

off we went .

" Hey what about me, am I not you favorite person too, " he says feigning hurt, and i look  thoughtful.

" well thinking of that I'd say you are number four, " I said and he gasped dramatically.

" wow am so happy am at your top five, really it's an honour, "he replies with sarcasm dripping in the whole sentence as I  laugh,  seems that I won't be bored with this guy around as we headed off, I thought to myself' I think this guy isn't that bad but we can only wait for the future to know where our fate lies '
