chapter nineteen

Eddie's POV
I went to visit Monica,well if I must say the truth I went to give her my birthday invitation and boy it wasn't easy.

"Hi Monica,I - was - wondering - if  you would like to my birthday party but don't worry cause there won't be many pips around." I started.

"Who will be there, nerds only," as soon as she said that my face fell.

"Am - not- exactly- just my classmates and my family." I said and she looked surprised.

"Sorry for being rude,anyway speaking of family is Amber gonna be there?" She asked smiling and I had to smile back cause she was beautiful by the way .

"Yeah - its her birthday a week after mine but we celebrate all the three of us." I replied and her grin broadened.

"That's fun to hear I miss her as well as Jessica does, will you greet her for me?" She asked and I nodded."thanks for the invitation, its nice for one to care."she concluded and surprised me with a cuddle but turned immediately running back to her house.

I was totally speechless,i can't believe she hugged me,this is the girl that would never let a boy touch her yet she hugged me,boy am I lucky.

I went back home and boy do I love drama,i saw George being pissed from what Nicholas mentioned to him when he was talking to Amber,could this day get any worse.

It actually got interesting, George left the kitchen and went outside,Amber tried to go after him but mom said that she was to make the stew,Nicholas only remained there to tease her.Alicia was on her phone talking to her boyfriend.

"Mom,can I invite my boyfriend for dinner?" Alicia started and mom looked at her eagerly.

"Is it Max?" Mom asked but Alicia shook her head.

"I doubt that," Amber said loudly and Nicholas gave her a hi- five, I had to laugh at that.

No,its another guy called Felix"Alicia said giving Amber a death glare and turned back to mom who looked completely stunned.

"Oh," she sounded disappointed, "ok you can invite him." She continued.

"In your face Amber," Alicia said departing and Amber's face formed an oh.

"What did I do now?" She said.

"Leave her, its her loss," I said and everyone was looking at me."what!" I asked.

"How old are you," mom asked and I laughed at that.

Am fourteen, I'll be fifteen next month, "I said looking away, but its true Alicia had a nice ,loyal boyfriend.he was also a great friend too.

Max was Alicia's bf in her freshman year till sophomore year, they were great together,but things started falling apart when Alicia made fun of Amber when Henry died that she lacked a boyfriend,max wasn't happy and told her to stop being childish,and defended Amber in every way but things got out of hand.

My dear sister Alicia started announcing that her sister was crazy in school, Amber lost her friends,oh that reminds me Monica's sister Jessica, was Amber's best friend that time they stopped talking to each other.well Amber was the one that let go and other friends too.Anyway the good part was,max broke up with Alicia,that was the best part of my life.

I went outside to look for George, man i love this guy ,cause he isn't afraid to hide his feelings,I wonder if I'll be like that.

"Hey bro,"I started sitting next to him by the pool.

"Hey ...i bet she is laughing at me?"He asked looking worried.

"Nah,she is cooking and chatting with Nicholas,"I replied and he signed."relax man,give her time remember she went through alot when he died,she might be clueless right now but she will catch up,"I said and he looked stunned all of a sudden.

How did you know-"he started,"wait how many years are you again."he laughed and I signed.

"I hate that people ask me that Everytime,but dude you don't know how to hide your emotions,I don't get why Amber isn't still seeing this."I said and he nodded.

"I've been a total jerk today,I don't think she'll ever think of me in that way again."George sounded really worried.

"But it's never too late to make up and I have a plan,"I said cheering him up.

"I would have declined the offer but now I am desperate enough to please her."he said laughing and I joined along.

Amber's POV
"Mom this dress is too tight on you,are putting on weight?" I said trying to zip but it wasn't working.

"Am I, that's surprising,"she said looking at herself.

"There is no problem,I wanted you to wear a silver one I bought not so long ago,it's presentable and I bet comfortable too."I said turning towards the closet  at the bottom and brought out a Gucci box and she nodded and wore it.

"Wow it is nice  and pretty too,thanks honey, you have a good taste."she said giving me a cuddle.

"Mom,am I don't understand George,I mean we like,are friends then sometimes his is overprotective of me,I really don't understand  him,mostly when he said that I don't get it,I can't read people right now am trying to learn to love again,it's been hard,"I said and mom nodded.

"I understand you dear,but all you need is time then you will understand him  can you imagine I was the same situation as you but not that it ended that way but mine was the biggest heartbreak of the year,but that's another story for another day ,"mom said."can I tell you something..."she said. I nodded,"I'm pregnant,"mom announced and I screamed in glee yes I was so happy right now.

"Sh, honey not a single word about this to anyone even Eddie." She said and I frowned.

"Not anyone else but Eddie,you know we are bonding right now please mom pretty please."I pleaded.

"Ok only him,no one else and he has to promise not to tell anyone till we announce it."she said and i nodded getting out of the room announcing that I was gonna change for dinner.

"Eddie,where are you?I shouted and he came running quick."I want you to help me pick an outfit today,"I asked and he nodded with a very arkward look like saying 'really'.

Once we were in my room I had to check if anyone was passing by then told Eddie about the good news,he didn't believe it at first but I told him that mom told me herself , that's when he did believe it.

"So what do you think I should wear."I asked and he smiled.

"I think I know the perfect cloth."he started.

He handed me a black skinny jeans and green top,I think it was okay  anyway,then he left me to change.
