Chapter eight

George's POV
Too fast,that's what I thought, I said to myself remembering how Amber was totally taken back by my words.

"I was jealous that he got you before me." I remembered saying that and I frowned. Argh!I let out a frustrated sign , of course I was jealous of my friend being with the most charming,beautiful, and gorgeous, good girl I have seen and for your information my girlfriend lexie broke up with me for looking at her when Henry proposed to her to be his girlfriend oh gosh I was so mad at that time.

Anyway now was a new term in a new school, wait its Amber's school how cool is that, the thought of seeing her every day and night was a pure excitement  in my life, spending a lot of time with her and the others of course. Oh wait I didn't tell you guys that am staying at their house now you know.

Am saying this because am not obsessed with Amber  neither am I a stalker but I totally like her and not only fulfilling what Henry wished  but  I wanna see Amber being happy again,you know, bring her to her old self to love everyone and even make up with her friends.

"George take care of Amber and make her happy too am counting on you best friend," those were the last word he told me and I smiled thinking about it.yeah,I know he told me what he told Amber but I didn't tell her because I kind of thought she was afraid of maybe falling in love again...I even don't know  if she'll fall for me but I won't give up, well not yet anyway.

"George are you OK?" Amber asked as she saw my frown and I immediately smiled and looked at her then focused on the road.
"Am fine really," I said reaching for her hand and she gave it to me but I mediately our hand met than I felt sparks but ignored, I was sure she felt them too.I got detention today was that I punched one of my best friends for;Calling Amber a pretty face but since we grew up together I wasn't that bothered for losing her to him or am just gonna be careful about around him I guess. Another thing him coming to spread a rumour that Amber got detention with a hunk dude like am not,its not like am bragging but amber said I am handsome so BANG! went another punch Right on left eye,for the other dude I have no problem with him so long as he doesn't disturb my Amber again .

I came here to Virginia due to me being immature enough to punch my principal,I was a bad boy can you blame me for being rebellious for the period we weren't talking with Amber I even got drunk,that's when my communication with Amber ended,I was devastated,I didn't listen to anyone especially since he wasn't around most of the time, always in business trips,so my mom did bear with me,sat me down and proposed a deal ,that I behave myself and I get the opportunity to come here or stay back home and look for a job because she wouldn't waste a single penny on my reckless behavior. And guess the option I choose,of course if it comes to Amber everything else is useless,so the the remaining term I was a good boy, went to AA meetings and got transformed,well since I was friends with Hugh, Jake and Guy since kindergarten,they decided to  transfer to western high,such loyal friends to count on because if they stayed in California,I don't know where I'd start ,find real friends is hard which I probably know now Amber must be suffering alot ,yeah life wouldn't be the same ,so am grateful to them.
