chapter twenty three

George Pov

"I don't take you as my brother but  as a friend, "I recalled as I sat on Amber's bed waiting for her to change, did it mean that she wouldn't want anything more than being friends, should I be patient, does she even like me, I just wonder.

"hey are you all done -"I cut myself when I noticed Amber removing her blouse and just when she pulled it above her brassier I had to look away, don't get the wrong  idea, it was just her back.

"not yet, just a few seconds...all done you can look now, "Amber said and I turned towards  her having worn her full pajamas with little flowers drawn in it, she first stared at me then started laughing at me, I didn't know what caused the laughter so I laughed also. "oh my ,what caused you to have a great blush on your face? "Amber breathed out those words but I lacked any,"anyway sorry for saying that, let's sleep, "she said and I nodded.

"Do you like someone, anyone, "I asked facing her back and she sighed and turned towards me.

"I do like someone, you know, he is handsome, good... "as she was saying this, her hands were traveling on my face, tracing, feeling every part of it with my eyes closed ,I could do this all day, It felt good to feel her soft and caressing hands on me, they traveled to my hair and I wished they will never leave.

"do you like someone, anyone? "she asked as I opened my eyes meeting hers which showed almost love on them.

"I do like someone but am afraid that she doesn't like me the same way ..."I said as she nodded. "well the best advice I can give you is,just tell her, it'd be better if you said now than waiting, cause you may never know when any Tom, Dick and Harry may snatch her from you. She said and I nodded quite Impressed by her choice of words but she was right, I had to tell her before Nick could take her from me.

"can I kiss you -"I said quickly and she laughed nodding. Right from the moment I kissed her the first time, she was irresistible and I hoped  she liked it. Once our lips met, it felt as if a thousand stars had exploded from my stomach and were dying to get out, I liked the feeling ,better than anything else in this world and I hoped she felt the same.

"I hope you don't feel like am taking advantage of you. "said once I caught my breath and she shook her head.

"why would you think like that! "she asked and I shrugged.

"I don't know but I feel like am doing this against your will, since you've never objected, you know."I said but she shook her head.

"of course not, I like you, meaning I'd like you to kiss me any time. "she said and my heart started beating very fast even a cheetah could loose in my case.

"really, "I asked very excited about connection we were having now and she nodded, "wait do you really like me or you are just teasing me. "I asked curiously.

"I mean you are my friend, why can't I like you, "she said and right there my heart broke into tiny pieces.

"oh- I see, can we sleep now, am really tired, " i said turning ,I know my  voice sounded hurt.

"Wait I do like you more than you think, George, "she said in haste.

" Really,I like you more too," I said turning towards her as my heart formed wholely back again and she smiled widely.

"So we have nothing to loose ,do we?" She said bringing me closer to her and I kissed her forehead tenderly.

" No we don't," I whispered at her ears as she giggled and we talked to each other small things waiting for sleep to take over,I couldn't be any happier in my life.
