Epilogue Part #2

(Tyson's POV) (I know you wanted to hear more about Lexi and the new boy but you'll have to wait)

Today was the day that had changed everything. I had married the girl of my dreams and now we were going to be together forever. I had finally found my true love.

All those years I had spent thinking I was in love with Lexi and that truth was that I didn't even know what love was. Love was the feeling of being unstoppable. It was waking up everyday with a smile on your face because you knew that you were destined to see them. It was the feeling that made butterflies appear in your stomach because you knew you would see them.

Most of all it was the feeling that I felt every time I looked at Gabrielle.

She was perfect. Every inch of her. Nothing and no one was going to take her away from me and I was going to make sure of it. I planned on spending that rest of my life by her side with our children and grandchildren running around.

'What are you thinking about?" She asked leaning against my shoulder as we watched some couples dancing on the dance floor.

'You, me, us.' I told her honestly. As I looked out at our family and friends I couldn't help but feel proud of the life I had made for myself and the people I had associated myself with.

'I'm glad I married you.' She whispered. I looked down at her and smiled.

'Not as glad as I am,' I murmured leaning down to place a tender kiss on her forehead.

'Its time for the toast, I think!' Jarrod called breaking the silence. He stood up, grabbing everyone's attention. 'I guess I'll start, for those of you that don't know me, my name is Jarrod and I'm the best man. Being asked to be his best man is such a great honour and it means a great deal to me. Firstly, on behalf of everyone here I would like to say congratulations to Tyson and Gabrielle and to thankyou both for making us all take the day off to be here.

Anyone here like me who has been lucky enough to spend time in their company knows what a great couple they are together, perfectly complementing each other. So their has been a lot of speculation as to why there is a huge peacock over there.' He paused pointing to the peacock statue that sat by the entrance. It was horrible but it was concreted to the ground so we couldn't move it.

'Well,' he continued. 'it's a bit of a compromise between the bride and groom as Tyson likes peas but Gabrielle likes... well lets not let the little ones here anymore about that. To cut a long speech short I would like to just say Tyson you are very lucky as you leave here today gaining a partner who is warm, loving, caring, funny and who radiates kindness where ever she goes. And Gabrielle you are very lucky too, you leave here today having gained.... A beautiful dress and some flowers.

And with that I would ask you all to charge your glasses, stand and join me in wishing Tyson and Gabrielle a long, prosperous and happy life together. Ladies and gentlemen please raise you glasses- to the bride and groom.'

Everyone stood and cheered as Jarrod sat back down. I couldn't help but laugh along with everybody else, he always had away of making serious situations funny.

I turned down towards the table knowing that Lexi was meant to go next, except I couldn't see her anywhere. The seat that she was meant to be sitting at was empty, her food and drinks untouched. Just as people started whispering in confusion the big entrance doors opened and Jason, Gabrielle brother walked in.

'Get back here you ass hole!" Someone that sounded extremely like Lexi shouted. Seconds later she marched in behind him, a red stain soaking the front of her ivory dress.
