Truly Sincere [Part 1]

Just a day before our wedding, lads organized an outdoor party in garden, it was bachelorette party plus bridal shower squeezed all in one. It was fully organized, with the beautiful lighting system, there was a long running table with the cushion seatings on the either sides on ground, and those candles on the table were enhancing the beauty of that night, the catering system was also away in the corner, the whole view was perfect.The weather was slightly cold, which was fitting perfectly to the night

After the not-so wild couple of games, dinner was served, it was a magical moment, we captured smiles in the pictures, we seized the day in memorable moments, joking, laughing whole heartily, I just wanted to freeze the time for us, before everything changes completely

"The kebabs are lovely" Harry smiled as he arranged my napkin in my lap when I came and sat down next to him and continued eating

"You should bring casserole enchiladas, they're the best" Alex flicked her tongue and I nodded, I ran my eyes through the table, Sophie and Niall were getting along so well, it made me happy, Liam, Sophia and Danielle were laughing at one of the Niall's joke, while Louis sat quietly beside Danielle in front of us, he was only drinking from his hip flask,  while his food rested idle on his plate

"You don't like kebabs?" I spoke to Louis and he looked at me, his eyes were puffy and tired

"I'm eating" he smiled as if I didn't notice how disturbed he looked and I simply nodded, I heard Harry joking about ridiculous haircuts but my head was occupied by Louis that moment

"You didn't hear me?" Harry asked again when I didn't laugh at his joke, I looked at Louis who got up to take a phone call

"I need me some cola" I laughed at Harry's joke and I excused myself from there as I walked towards the drinking corner. Louis was standing there on call, he was facing the wall that I could only face his back

"I can't talk right now, I haven't told them yet" I didn't try to eavesdrop on him, but he was loud enough for me to jump a little, I simply looked for the chilled cola cans dipped in ice

"I'll have one too" Louis said and when I looked up he was smiling at me and I handed over him a can and he stood there silently as he lit up a cigarette and took a puff

"Everything okay!" I asked in a low voice as he took another puff and looked at me with teary eyes, I assumed it was smoke that caused his eye irritation, I placed my hand on his shoulder standing next to him

"No! I'm not okay" Louis said as he looked at his cigarette, the fumes were entering my lungs

"Can you tell me what's bothering you?" I asked, he sighed as he threw the cigarette and smashed it with his shoe tip as he sighed again

"Two sighs! You're perturbed and unsettled, it shows" I ruffled his hair and he smiled weakly

"I'll have to tell you eventually, but not today" he smiled at me as he opened the can and took a sip

"Why not!" I softened my forehead creases

"It's your day, I don't wanna ruin it for you or Harry, bothering you both is the last thing on my mind today" Louis said

"Come on! You can never bother us, just tell me, if letting it out helps, I'm here for you" I replied, and he placed his hand on mine which was on his shoulder

"I promise, I will tell you when the time is right" he said

"You'll get through this, I promise" I placed my head on his shoulder

"I thought you went to factory, .. hey! What is going on here" Harry came dancing along with the music and stopped he looked at us mouth agape and we waved at him still standing there in same position, he chuckled amusingly and we laughed at his reaction

"We were just having a heart to heart conversation" I said as he took out one cola for himself too

"About!.." He asked taking a sip as he raised his eyebrows at me

"He was just playing an elderly brother role, guiding me through the married life" I said and Harry seemed amused as he chuckled

"Yeah! I was just telling her that she has her older brother by her side, I'll kick your ass if you ever hurt my Jasmin" Louis said and I laughed winking at Harry

"Is that all" Harry folded his arms as he sipped on his cola totally regaled by our banters

"I was actually going to ask her, that I want to be her escort on behalf of her father as well as the witness" Louis looked at me

"I'd love that" my eyes welled up as I hugged him, he lifted me up

"Oh love bub don't cry" when I pulled back he patted my head and I smiled at him, silently wishing whatever he was going through passes faster

"Thank you Louis, that means a lot to us" Harry said as he patted Louis' shoulder

"Let's get you something to eat before the dance begins, you've been drinking on empty stomach, I'm watching you" I put my arm around Louis's arm

"Man! You'll keep shitting tomorrow, eat something nice" Harry laughed as we walked towards the tables
