Father and son

Joseph's POV

"Maybe they were just watching a movie and fell asleep. That doesn't mean anything else is going on" I say to Kathrine after she tells me what happened when she went over to Michael's last night and she shakes her head. "You didn't see them or the way Michael had his hands around her and he was lay inbetween her legs! People don't randomly fall asleep like that"

"But they were definitely dressed?"

"Well yes, but they could have fallen asleep after they... You know?" She mumbles that last part awkwardly. "But then they still wouldn't have been dressed. Not fully anyway. Maybe your just reading more into it" I try to reassure her and she suddenly goes quiet. "Was there something else you saw?" I ask and she sighs heavily then tells me about her run in with Lisa and what she'd said.

"I spoke to Michael about it, but he assured me nothing was going between him and Leanne and..."

"Well there you go then" I cut her off. "Lisa's his ex wife and likes to cause trouble. Your just reading more into it because of what Lisa told you"

"Maybe... Michael did seem a little upset when I told him what Lisa said. But why would he get so upset if it wasn't true?" She asks. "I think most people would be pretty upset if their ex wife was bad mouthing them"

"I guess so" she mumbles still unsure. "How about I go over there and speak to Michael?" I suggest. "But you just said you didn't believe anything was going on?" She frowns confused. "I don't, but I can always tell when one of our boys are lying so if he is hiding something, i'll get it out of him, but like I said. Your probably just reading more into it" I smile reassuringly at her while also trying to reassure myself.

Obviously the guys in the family know about Leanne's past and the real reason she's living with Michael, but as far as the women are aware, Leanne just came from an abusive invronment an Michael is now her carer.

Even though I assured Kathrine what she saw was probably just a misunderstanding, I'm not so sure. Obviously I'm aware Leanne and Michael have a past, but Michael assured me that things would be innocent between them an after what I've been told I'm not so sure.

Michael's POV

After kissing Leanne goodbye she heads off to school an I went upstairs to get ready for work. I know Leanne and I said we'd wait for each other until she was older and technically we still are. Me and her made out last night (and a few times this morning) but nothing else happened. I have to admit it was really hard for me not to try and take things any further and I could tell Leanne wanted to as well, but we both know nothing else can happen just yet.

As I'm getting ready there's a loud knocking on the door and I'm surprised when I see Joesph and he looks pissed about something.

"Hey! What's up?" I smile slightly letting him into the house. "Your mother said she left her phone here yesterday" he says in a neutral tone and I look around and find it behind one of the sofa cushions and hand it to him.

"Your mother actually came by last night for it herself"

"She did?" I frown confused "mhm.. And she said she saw you asleep on the sofa... with Leanne"

"Yeah, we fell asleep watching a movie" I shrug casually. "You sure that's all that happened?" He raises an eyebrow and I nod and he doesn't say anything for a moment. "I'm gonna ask you something and I want the truth... Have you had sex with her?"

"You already know we did?" I mumble feeling a little akward. "I mean since she came to live with you! Don't be a smart ass! I gave you that money to help the girl, not so you can have your own personal hooker on demand and..."
