Missundersanding

Leanne's POV

Michael's going to be meeting with Lisa today and I've been feeling really weird about it. I haven't said this to Michael or anybody, but him being alone with Lisa is really making me paranoid. As much as I've never really liked or got along with Lisa, it doesn't change the fact that she's still beautiful and Michael was married to her and obviously loved her once. I do believe him when he says he loves me and doesn't have feelings for Lisa anymore, but that doesn't mean nothing could happen when their alone and with the two of them talking he may start getting getting those feelings he once had for her.

"You ok?" Michael asks walking into the living room , bringing me from my thoughts. "Mhm" I nod faking a smile. "I'm gonna have to go and meet Lisa soon. Will you be ok here?"

"Ok" I nod and he looks at me for a moment. "Have I said something to you?"

"No why?" I look at him confused. "Are you sure? You've seemed a little off with me the last few days. If I've said something or..."

"You haven't done anything wrong" I smile slightly through pursed lips. "Then what's wrong? There's clearly something bothering you" he asks refusing to let it go and I sigh heavily and decide to just come out with.

"Baby, I swear to you, I don't feel anything for Lisa. I love you and only ever want to be with you and I'd never cheat on you or doing anything to hurt you. I understand you having problems trusting me after the way things were when we first met, but I'm trying really hard to prove that you can trust me, but I don't know how I'm supposed to do that or.. "

"I do trust you" I tell him honestly. "Then what's the problem?" He asks confused. "You may not have feelings for Lisa right now, but you loved her once and your gonna be talking alone in a hotel room with her and I'm scared those feelings will come back and..."

He kisses me softly, cutting me off then breaks away slightly. "I love you and I want you and you only and nothing's going to change that" he says softly. "The only reason I'm meeting her in the hotel room is because my friend had to book her so I could get her out of that place for a few hours and we'll be able to talk without Mary or anybody else finding out and I'm not even gonna be there that long. I'm just going to check she's ok and tell her about our plan and then I'm gonna leave, I promise"

"Your just gonna say what you have to say then send her back?" I frown a little confused and he shakes his head. "My friend booked her for the whole day, so once we've finished talking she can just hang out at the hotel and relax for the day or whatever she wants to do" he shrugs. "I'm only speaking to her because I have to and once all this is over I won't need to have any contact with her or any of those girls from that place or any girl for that matter" he says softly stroking the side of my face. "Do you really think this will work?" I asks and he nods. "If we do it properly and plan everything just right then there's no reason it won't and we'll be able to help all those girls, not just one" he says and I smile slightly at the thought of knowing that we'll be helping not just Lisa, but Emma, Mia and all the others that were once good friends to me.

"Are you going to be ok now?" He asks bringing me from my thoughts and I nod and smile slightly. "I'll be as quick as I can and then i'll be straight back" he smiles and pecks my lips then goes upstairs to get dressed.

Lisa's POV

"Mike will be here in a minute" Steve says coldly when we walk into the hotel room. "I don't know why you bothered trying to get all dressed up. He didn't ask me to bring you here so he could fuck you. He gets that at home for free from someone that's actually attractive" he chuckles then walks out of the room before I can reply and I head to the bathroom to check my hair and makeup and I hear a light tap on the door.
