Micheal's POV

It's a few days since what happened to Maria and Leanne still hasn't come out of her room and has barely spoke. I've managed to convince her to eat a little, but not much and I'm really starting to worry about her. The next few days were going to be hard for her anyway and now this has only added to all the pressure she already had. I know it's not Maria's fault and she didn't exactly have much on when and where she passed away, but with this happening so close to the anniversary of her parents and the trial. I'm really worried about Leanne and whether it not she'll be able to cope during the trail when she had to speak in detail about what happened to her.

While Leanne's alseep I go downstairs to make us both somthing to eat and my phone starts ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey, how's it going?" Janet asks "not good" I reply opening the back door and take the call outside. "Has something happened?" She ask worriedly. "She hasn't come outnof the bedroom and just keeps breaking down crying. I've managed to get her to eat a little, but I still can't get her to even come downstairs" I explain worriedly. "Just try to to push her. She'll come out when she's ready"

"But I can't just leave her in there"

"But you can't bully her into coming out either. If you force it then she'll only back away more" she says softly "I don't know what else I'm supposed to do"

"Just try and be a little more sensitive and rember that Leanne hasn't just lost a grandmother. She's lost the last family member she has" she says softly. "What are you talking about? She has me and you and the rest of the family" I frown confused. "But we're not her blood"

"What does that have to do with anything? She's still apart of this family"

"Of course she is, but like I said we're not her blood and Leanne hasn't just lost her Grandmother and her parents. she's lost her the last member of her family and bloodline"

"Our baby will be her blood relative" I point out. "Well then why don't you try talking to her about that? Maybe talking about something good for a change might help"

"I can try, but she hasn't really wanted to talk about anything"

"As long as you trying an she knows your there for her then that's all you can really do. You can't stop her from grieving. All you can really do is be there when she needs you" she says softly.

I continue talking with Janet awhile longer then head back inside to finish off making breakfast then take it upstairs. Normally I can't stand when people eat in bed, but since Leanne is refusing to come downstairs I can't exactly starve her put of the room so I don't really have much then to let her eat in there.

When I get to the bedroom there's nobody there. "Leanne?" I call out confused and she doesn't answer me. I'm about to go downstairs and I hear the bathroom door open. "There you are" I smile as she walks out wear I nothing, but a towel. "Were you calling for me?"

"I was just wondering where you'd gone is all"

"I'm sorry. I was just taking a shower"

"You don't have to apologise" I smile. "I made you some breakfast"

"Thanks. I'll just get dressed and be down in a minute" she smiles going back into the bedroom and I smile back and head downstairs.

When Leanne came downstairs we sat and had breakfast and even though she's a little more talkative, she still seems really upset, but her just coming down the stairs is a really big step.

"I was thinking maybe we could decorate the nursary this weekend"

"Yeah. I'd really like that" she smiles looking up from her food. "Do you have any particular coulers in mind" I ask "maybe yellow?"
