While you were sleeping

Michael's POV

"I still can't believe your finally awake" I smile and sigh contently, stroking the side of Leanne's face and she smiles back at me through pursed lips.

"What happened?" She mumbles "I know you said there was a fire but..."

"Baby, don't worry about all that right now. You just concentrate on getting better" I say softly, cutting her off. "Please tell me" she mutters and I sigh heavily. I don't want to upset her by going into details, but I know I can't hide it from her forever so I decide to just come out with it all and get it over with and she sits quietly, looking confused and shocked when I tell her what happened that day.

"I'm so sorry. I had no idea you were in there and when Lisa finally told me it was to late and..." I pause and break down crying, getting flash back of every little detail I that day.

"Michael, I don't blame you for what happened to me. and you shouldn't either" she says softly. "I almost killed you! How am I not to blame?" I frown confused. "But you said you didn't know I was inside?"

"And I didn't. I swear! The second I found out I rushed straight in there, but... I'm so sorry" I say shakily and she doesn't say anything for a moment.

"What happened to Lisa and the others?" She asks and I shrug. "I don't know what happened to the others. I know they got out. Emma came to visit you once, but she didn't say we're she was staying or anything about the others and Lisa went to the police and said it was all her, but when I told them everything I did they dropped the arson charges on her and just arrested her for kidnap. How did Lisa get you there in the first place? I still don't understand that. When I left you were at home waiting for your tutor. Did she come over or something?" I ask still confused about how that happened and she tells me about Mia calling her.

"So it was Mia that called and got you there!?" I say shocked and she nods "she told me she found out where my parents were buried and I went to meet her and..." she pauses and starts crying. "Sssh... it's ok" I say softly putting my arms around her then break I away "I just want to say goodbye to them"

"And you will. Because I found out where they are and we can go there as soon as your better, I promise"

"You what!?" She widens her eyes "the police told me, just before I got here"

"Why would the police tell you?" She frowns confused. and I don't say anything for a moment.

"When you were in a coma this couple. Kelly and Alex.. they came here and were saying they were your God parents and they were close to your parents"

"I've never heard of them" she shakes her head confused. "Well it turned out they were lying and were just trying to take you away"

"W-why? And what does this have to do with the police telling you where my parents are buried" she asks getting even more confused and nervous.

"Because I found something out about them and the police made a deal with me that they'd drop the charges on me for starting the fire and for what happened with you and me if I helped them" I mumble. "What kind of deal? Help with what?"

"It doesn't matter anymore. Their arrested and so is your aunt. That's the main thing"

"What did they want you to help them with?" She asks again and I don't say anything for a moment then sigh heavily and tell her everything.

I sit listening, feeling shocked and disgusted as Michael tells me about those people who came here and where he had to go.
