It was late in the morning when Felicity finally appeared from her room. Her usual neat tied back blonde hair was down and to say a mess was putting it nicely.
Octavia sat at the kitchen table nursing a cup of coffee in her hands, upon seeing her girlfriend stumbled thought the apartment O had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing at the site of Felicity.
"You okay?"
Felicity mumbled something before shooting a evil stare over at the brunette. Octavia brought her hands up in defence rising an eyebrow at the blonde.
"What did I do?!"
"I think I'm sick because of you! Cause you made me go fishing!" Felicity leaned back against the kitchen counters resting a hand against her slowly growing warmer forehead.
"yelling, bad" she mumbles.
Octavia walked over to her ill girlfriend and pulled her into a hug, wrapped her arms around the blonde, Octavia could feel the warmth radiating from her.
"Guess it's a good thing I already called in sick for you"
"You did?" Felicity asked in a small voice.
Octavia nodded, "who's the best girlfriend?"
"Still not you" Felicity smiled at her partner.
"That's so rude" Octavia stated shaking her head. "And here I was gonna play doctor for you"
Octavia let go of Felicity and walked back over to her spot at the tablet. The words sank in and felicity released that maybe being sick would have it's plus side, if only she can convince O to stay. That wouldn't be so hard.
Felicity walked over to the table and sat of the opposition side of Octavia, she put on her best pouting face and refused to look away from the brunette.
Octavia locked eyes with the sick Felicity for one moment before shooting her eyes back down. "Not gonna work this time babe"
"But babe..." Felicity pouted more tossing in a little whine for effect.
"Nope" O said sticking her ground.
"but I need someone to take care of me, please babe"
'Will not cave, will not give in' O thought to herself
Felicity rested her head on the table "babe...Octavia please be my doctor..." She thought for a moment "you are after all the one who got me sick"
"That's low" Octavia said without looking up.
"I know, but if you stay you will be the best girlfriend ever" Felicity smiled at her girlfriend knowing that she wouldn't be able to resist.
"Okay...fine I'll play doctor" Octavia looked up at the blonde returning the evil stare from a few moments ago.
