" One person's craziness is another person's reality. "
- Tim Burton
He couldn't take his eyes away from her. She looked so peaceful with her eyes closed, as to focus on the birds singing behind those windows. She had forgotten his presence as she was too engrossed by nature's music.
She was in her own world. Her pink lips twitched as she was refraining a smile while her eyes opened to gaze up at the sky. She could smell the rain coming as she noticed the pure white clouds turning into different shades of grey.
He licked his plump lips to gather all his thoughts.
" That's it. You're the key. " He muttered.
The young woman was cut off her thoughts when she heard a faint muttering. She realized she wasn't alone in this room as her gaze turned back to Dr.Park.
" I'm sorry, did you say something? " She couldn't make out what he had said but knew that it was directed to her.
The man smirked at her confused expression before replying, " Nothing, Ms. Nana. Your ears might have played you a prank. "
She frowned at his response but decided to let it slide since it didn't really seem important.
" When are we done, Dr. Park? I would like to go back to my room. "
" There is still half an hour left before 11 o'clock. " Replied Dr.Park with a playful tone.
" Well, maybe you could release me a bit sooner? In those laps of time, you could take a break or take the chance to take care of your other patients." She tried to find an excuse to end this session, but little did she know that she was actually getting the situation worse.
" Oh, do not worry about that. " Affirmed the young man. " You are the only one that I was supposed to see today. "
Nana looked at him, amused, " I thought that doctors like you were too busy with their schedule. Barely having any time for themselves. "
" You can say that for those who work in a Hospital, not in this facility. Here, the same doctors, psychiatrists, and nurses heal the same patients. While in a Hospital, there are new patients every second. " He retorted. " Also, for your information, you are the only patient that I was asked to take care of. "
Interested, she asked him why she was the only one.
" The reason why you are my only patient Ms.Nana is simple. I am a newly graduate. " He pointed at his diploma framed on the wall. " I was asked to take care of only one patient to test my capacities since I just graduated. And that patient somehow ended up to be you. "
Nana didn't know much about medical degree and requirement, but it did somehow sound plausible to her. If he really graduated from a medical school only recently, it could only be fair to test his abilities and knowledge.
But they gave him the wrong one.
" I understand. " Said Nana before she averted her gaze away from him.
For some reason, his presence started to make her feel uncomfortable. While the young woman was still thinking of a plan to end up this session, his voice snapped her out of her deep thoughts.
" Nana, please look at me when I'm talking to you. "
His eyes were piercing at her as an angry expression replaced his emotionless one.
" I've been calling your name numerous times, and you didn't reply once. I was expecting the simple courtesy from you to answer to me. "
" I-I'm sorry, I wasn't aware you were talking to me. I was in deep thoughts." She amitted a bit confused.
