The psychiatric ward is said to be a place of love, contribution, and freedom of the mind. A place where you could be welcomed with open arms and mind. A house of refuge and sanctuary, where a soul was called for redemption and knew no discriminatory.

But in reality, this place that mortals are afraid to call an asylum would be more proper to describe as a place of martyrdom because the thoughts of love and hope become non-existent.

The plain rooms, walls, and floor without mentioning the doors without handles and sealed windows, were mere reflections of this hostile environment.

The young woman was sitting on the cold floor, looking blankly at the plain white wall. Her legs completely stretched out, and her hands firmly clenched together. She has been doing this for already an hour. She didn't know why, but she knew that she also had nothing better to do.

She couldn't sleep because as soon as she would close her eyes, her nightmares would begin, and no one was there to soothe her mind. So she blankly looked at the wall, emptying her mind.

A knock was suddenly heard on the door, cutting her from her thoughts.

She lazily looked at the door, thinking that it might be a new nurse bringing her medications, or maybe Dr. Jin asking for psychotherapy. When the door slowly opened, making it scream and sending her chills down her spine, it revealed a young man.

It took her a few seconds to recognize him.

The man in question was looking around the room until his eyes fell on her. He smiled in relief before he closed the door behind him. " Hello, how are you feeling, Nana? " His voice was as smooth as she could remember, his smile as genuine and beautiful as she hoped for.

" T-Taehyung? " She asked in a stutter.

She couldn't believe her eyes. Her friend was here. She tried to stand up from the cold floor, but because of her numb body, she needed support from the wall.

Taehyung noticed that quickly came over to her and helped her stand up. " W-What are you doing here? No one is allowed to come... "

He chuckled before he replied, " I asked an authorization to come here as your nurse and caretaker. "

She frowned at his answer. It has been a month since she had asked Dr. Jin about Taehyung and Hoseok whereabouts, but he gave her none. And now, Taehyung suddenly appears before her to tell her that he asked for authorization to become her caretaker?

" Yes, I asked the authorization to become your personal nurse and caretaker to Dr. Jin, and he accepted. " He confirmed. " It took me a while to make him accept my request, which explains my late arrival to you. "

When he realized her sudden silence, he asked with a worried voice, " Nana? Is something wrong? "

" I-No, I'm fine... I'm just surprised to see you here. I-I thought I would never see you again. " Admitted the young woman. Surprised was a small word to reflect her current emotions she was beyond shocked. " But why? " She added.
