" Just because something isn't a lie does not mean that it isn't deceptive. A liar knows that he is a liar, but one who speaks mere portions of truth in order to deceive is a craftsman of destruction. "

- Criss Jami

Her concept of time has developed and grown since she has come to this place. She had to sit on her cold bed, close my eyes, empty her mind, and let the time passes. She would imagine different scenarios in her head, some that would bring peace to her soul, and others that would slowly torture her inside.

Yet, no matter how much she had grown used to this, the feelings linked to the word waiting had never gone easier. Cold, scary, angry, bitter, raw, bored, tired... It was going on and on, yet nothing would happen.

Because she had to wait.

" I hate waiting. "

It was almost midnight, and Taehyung has still not come back after she had sent him to ask for help from Dr. Park.

Had something happened to him? Could he not find him? Or, did he give up on her as well and left?

She curled her small fingers around the thin fabric of her bed and buried her head into the pillow. " No, there is no way he would have done such a thing " She tried to convince herself.

All of a sudden, she started to hear footsteps in the corridor.

She jolted up from the bed and tried to concentrate on the noise. the young woman was growing more anxious at each step that was progressing towards her room. She was anticipating what was going to happen until the footsteps had grown louder, and heavier.

Finally, they stopped in front of her door room. Sounds of keys and grumbling voices mixed together. She gulped, waiting impatiently for whoever to come inside then heard the door making an unbearable noise, making her cringe.

When the terrible was over, she opened back her eyes and looked toward the doorway. Her eyes enlarged when she saw Taehyung standing there.

The woman didn't think twice and ran toward him.

" Taehyung! What are you doing here? Why didn't you come sooner? Isn't your shift over? Have you seen- " Her no ending questions were quickly stopped when he placed his fingers in front of her lips and shushed her.

" Shh, you are too loud. You are going to attract attention. "

She bit her lips, " Sorry... " I mumbled.

" He nodded, " Sorry, for coming only now. I had to take care of something, but how come you are still awake "

" I threw up the drug earlier. " She pointed piece of a sheet thrown on the ground. " I knew you would come and I couldn't just act like sleeping beauty. "

" You did well... I'm sorry you had to do that. "

She shook her head. " I know. " She then grabbed the hem of his white shirt, " Everything will turn out okay, right? " She softly asked him.

She was craving for a lie. She was craving for him to tell her that everything would be okay. She was craving to hear his reassuring, deep, and melodic voice.

Slowly, she felt his warm hands wrap around her frail body. I didn't back away, instead, she buried her head into his chest. She listened to Taehyung's gentle voice telling her that it will be all okay.

Nana nodded her head, grateful to have him by her side.

Suddenly, the sound of the door closing brought her back to reality.
