" Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. "

- Dr. Seuss

This cat and mouse game was finally put to an end. There she was, standing in front of a grave, white Lilas in her hands, and with a heavy heart, she lay them, to mend for her absence.

" Hello, it has been a while, hasn't it? " She stared at the grave, her heart full of grief. " I wish you could see me now. I finally graduated from college to become a nurse. I hope you are proud of me, and still, look over me from where you are. "

Her dark eyes moved up toward the bright blue sky, witnessing the magnificent shade of white cotton clouds, changing forms.

As if she was observing an ephemeral art, she thought to herself what a beautiful day it was. The sudden wind moved her hair and let them dance until they hit her face.

" This doesn't happen in movies, does it? " She pushed away from her hair and those who stuck to her lipstick. " I'm seriously thinking about cutting my hair short, at this point. "

A sudden laugh echoed beside her before his sweet voice asked, " What are you doing? "

" The wind is bothering me! " She pouted. " Anyway, this is not what we came here for! Mother, " She held out her hand. " Look at this, Jimin finally asked me to become his wife. " She glanced at the man in question, " He apparently waited for me to finish college to ask me to marry him, isn't that cute? "

Ignoring her comment, Jimin greeted, " Hello, Ms. Kim. I'm sorry we didn't come sooner. Both me and Nana have been very busy. From now on, we will come to visit you more often. Please look over us. " Then bowed before her grave.

Nana sighed, " Almost three years had passed since we caught your murderer, mother. Father is still serving in prison, but he had changed. Last time I visited him, he spoke about the past and how he missed you. He also wants to visit you, but it will take him about two other years for him to see you. "

The young woman remembered when she last visited her father in prison. In the last few years, she somewhat managed to rebuild a relationship with him as his daughter. She could see he tried to change, or rather, become the man he once was before he lost his wife.

She took her eyes away from the grave and glanced at Jimin. His uncle was in prison serving for his sin. Jimin would often visit him with Seokjin. Since Park Jinyoung was sentenced guilty, the Busan mental hospital was on the verge to be shut down. If the wasn't for the old man giving the rights to Seokjin since Jimin had no interest to manage the hospital as the head, both Taehyung, all the staff members, and patients would have nowhere to work or to live.

Suddenly thinking about Taehyung, Nana treasured her promise to him. As she started her studies to become a nurse, she had promised that once she would graduate, they would work together. Her mind then traveled to her friend, Hoseok. Sadly, even after Nana had gained more knowledge, she was more than determined to help him.

While the young woman was busy with her thoughts, Jimin stared at her while the wind was beautifully making her hair dance in the air. A smile spread on his face as he watched her.

Since his uncle, Nana's father, and even Kang Sejun successfully accepted their sentence, life has been more comfortable for the couple. Even Min Yoongi, who had participated in taking Kang Sejun out of his position was doing well. He was the one leading the underworld in Seoul now, and he was doing well by the last news Jimin had of him.

As for Kim Seokjin, Jimin's old rival, he had also been doing well by directing the Busan Mental Hospital. From time to time, Jimin would help the young man take decisions for the sake of the hospital and its patient.

He learned a lesson since he witnessed his benefactor going to prison for his sin. Seokjin had to leave his greed behind and leave as a better man, and so has he for the past three years.

His thoughts turning back on the young woman, a smile spread on his face. He watched her fingers brushed her lips so slightly while a frown appeared on her face.

" What's wrong? " He asked her.

She hummed before she turned her head to him. " Ah, I was simply thinking about Hoseok. "

" Jung Hoseok? " Tried to confirm the man.

Nana nodded, " Yes, him. " She then sighed, " Well, I will start working at the hospital next week so... "

" Are you nervous? Don't be. "

" Why? Because you will be there? " She smirked.

He chuckled, " That too, but no because I know you will do well. "

The young woman grinned at him before she mouthed a thank you at him.

" It's so peaceful now. " Pointed out the woman as she laid her eyes toward the sky.

It felt so strange to her now to think that just three years ago, she was an escaped mental patient trying to unravel her mother's death. She ran away thanks to her best friend, Kim Taehyung, and her lover Park Jimin.

Back then, she didn't know who to trust, heck she couldn't even trust herself. She had to overcome her fears and demons. She had to part away from the little girl that was afraid of the dark. And she did.

It took her a long time, but she managed to find herself. Along the way, she discovered the feeling of betrayal, sadness, fear, and love.

The young woman looked back at Jimin.

She probably wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for him or all the people that had helped her. Had she been alone and she would have lost on the first day she had arrived at the mental hospital.

Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Min Yoongi, detective Kim, detective Lee, and attorney Han Minhyuk.

She engraved their names deeply in her brain like a tattoo, to never forget them.

" Shall we go? " Asked the woman.

Jimin nodded, and both slowly left the grave of the woman that started it all.

While the couple was walking away, Nana suddenly stopped in her track to watch into the man's figure walking away. Noticing her absence by his side, he turned to look at her with a confused look on his face.

A sudden thought had pooped in her head. Nana believed that ever since that day, the day she had laid her eyes on him, she knew she was doomed.

A part of her knew who he was from the very beginning but was afraid to admit it. She had fallen in love with him over and over again.

As she noticed the frown on Jimin's face, without any hesitation, Nana ran and threw herself into his arms.

" The day I laid my eyes on you, I knew I was doomed. " She whispered.

" Why? " Asked Jimin, " Do I trigger something inside you? "

The young woman nodded as she looked deeply into his eyes, " Yes, fear. " She looked at him straight in the eyes, " The fear to lose you again, to forget you. "

Jimin hugged her for a moment, then he pulled back to look into Nana's eyes. " Then, I will stay with you and make sure you don't forget even an inch of my body. Though life may test me, I am yours into eternity, and I will never abandon you. "

Nana leaned forward and gave him a light kiss before she pulled back to see his reaction. She saw a gentle smile spread on his face while she felt his hand wrapped around her cheek and the other behind her waist. This time, Jimin initiated a passionate yet gentle kiss while Nana wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.
