" Just because someone looks safe, doesn't always mean they are. Always be aware of your surroundings, pay attention to who is walking up behind you, or who seems to be paying attention to you more than they should.  "
- Barry Tate.

" Enough. "

Enough? She repeated in her head.

Something could finally explain her father's behavior. His drastic change of attitude over the years. His reason for sending her here. Maybe it wasn't just because he had enough of her? maybe there was another reason. Maybe there was a way to bring her father back. The old him. The warmth side of him.

"But- " She tried to argue back.

He slammed his hand against the table. " I said, enough! "

The woman flinched at the coldness of his voice, but she had a feeling that his anger was not directed at her.

" Please, give me a moment. " This time, his voice sounded more pleading. He supported his head in between his two hands and closed his eyes.

Nana waited for Dr. Park to gather his own thoughts. She was fully aware that his current state of mind wouldn't be much help to her. But what was she supposed to do? He was the psychologist, not her.

After what seemed to be forever, Dr. Park eventually lifted his head back and locked his eyes with her. Nana thought it was his way to ease her and to tell her that he was okay. Then, he opened his mouth to tell her something, but only a sigh escaped his lips.

With a shaky voice, he called out her names.

" Yes? " She answered.

" From now on, I'm asking you to not trust anyone in this hospital, including him. "

She guessed that him corresponded to Dr. Jin.

" Except me. " Added the man.

With a grimace on her face, she asked back, " What is the reason for this? "

That was quite an unusual request, she heard. Not trusting his coworkers? For what reason?

Not replying to her question, he added, " Just trust me. I will be your guide and help you find the answers you are looking for. However, you cannot talk about this to anyone. The progress you will make cannot be shared with anyone, not even your nurse. "

With a sneer, she retorted, " I'm sorry, but you have to understand my confusion. I have met you less than five times, yet I trust Dr. Jin more than you. In an hour, I got to know more than I've done with you in three weeks."

" Fair enough. I was absent for three weeks and was not able to be much help to you during that time. Our first session was... also found to be hopeless, but mind you. I can help you more than any doctor in this hospital. " He stated.

Slowly, Nana approached her face to his. " If that's so, why don't we start now? Help me understand what people have been hiding from me. What... I've been running away from. "

"... How much of your childhood do you remember? " He suddenly asked.

The woman fell back on her seat and shrugged, " Like any other kids, not much before the age of five or six. Why the sudden question? " She asked back.

The black-haired male noted her answer in a diary without replying.

" Aren't there any blank spaces in your memory? Like, the face of someone that appears in your mind, but you can't seem to vividly remember them. "
