" I've never known before what it feels like to want someone - not to want to hook up with them or whatever, but to want them, to want them. And now I do. So maybe I do believe in epiphanies. "

-John Green, Will Grayson

Nobody in this world gives a damn about death. Death happens anywhere and everywhere, and even if someone dies, they just get replaced.

How could someone regret something like that?

You have to chase every little bit of joy when you find them. That's what Park Jimin had to learn from an early age when he was first introduced to the underworld by his uncle.

People, things, places... There was no point in clinging to anything.

Eventually, he ran away from this dark world. Like a coward, while his uncle unbrotherly replaced hum by Kim Seokjin. The young man closed his eyes and acted like a different person. He grew up, went to college, studied to become a psychologist like his uncle. Yet, the only reason he chose to follow his uncle's footsteps wasn't to get in his good grace but to help other people like Nana.

The day Nana woke up from her coma after the accident and was unable to recognize him hurt the little boy that he was, deeply. It was then, he understood how easy it was to lose someone.

From that day, he had been forbidden to meet Nana again by his uncle. The reason? It was to protect her. However, a part of him wanted to understand why this happened to her and wanted to help, so he studied and followed his uncle's shadow.

Nevertheless, the wheel of fortune which controlled this young man's destiny, finally turned into his favor when he saw her again in that hospital.

At first, he didn't know how to approach her. He was cold to her, indifferent, but then he became playful around her and got attached to her all over again.

Jealousy, clinginess, no matter how much they were together, it was never enough for Jimin. He didn't know where to stop. He couldn't stand it.

Slowly, the pleasure trapped him. He found something that he couldn't replace, but it made him wonder, did he find honey or poison?

The girl in question was still unconscious on her bed, dry tears could be witnessed on her cheeks with a painful expression on her face.

The young man clenched his fist, unable to do anything but to wait for her to wake up. He felt so powerless and useless at the moment, he didn't know what to do.

As a psychologist, he knew he had to stay by her side and watch her fight her own demons, he could merely be a guide to her. Yet, as the man who cared for her, he felt terrible.

Suddenly, he felt someone reaching out for his hand, and quickly he turned his face to her. The young woman had her eyes open with a small smile on her face.

A strange feeling spread out to her when she witnessed the relieved yet melancholic expression of the man seating next to her. She viewed him in a new light. The man in front of her, who was worriedly looking after her, was the same little boy who promised to never leave her side.

How stupid she was.

Everything was right in front of her, yet she decided to ignore it and deny it. For how long had she made him wait? All those months, years... He had kept his promise to her, and her alone.

" Hey, sleeping beauty, how are you feeling? "

She laughed at the nickname he gave her and nodded her head, " Better. "
