Mark sat in the room, his elbows on his knees as he counted to six over and over again, trying to keep his mind off the pain that rung throughout his body, his forehead resting on his hands as he let out small breaths.

He had to go for serious aid after that, according to Gray, Jay had flogged him at least 17 times, which could've been the limit for Mark's bearing rate, but he luckily survived.

Mark wasn't allowed to see Sean for the entirety of two months, that is if Sean does recover. Mark still did not regret taking the beating for him, he'd go from the earth to the moon and back for Sean if he had to.

Gray walked past Mark and bit his lip before he approached him, tapping his shoulder, Mark slowly looking up at him, the movement even sent a sting to pulse through his spine, causing him to grit his teeth.

"We're moving Sean to his... room, he won't move so, we need you to help us, Jay won't like it but it's the only thing we can think of" Gray sighed and Mark smiled weakly, climbing to his feet, groaning lowly at the pain that shot through him, arching his back only made it worse.

"You need help?"

Mark looked to him and shook his head, walking with Gray to were Sean stood, surrounded by officers, not moving until his eyes landed on Mark, rushing towards him.

"Mark! Are you okay!?" Sean asked worriedly, taking Marks face in his hands as he stared at him. "Yeah, I'm fine" Mark took his hands and intertwined their fingers, smiling at him lovingly.

"They wanna take me to the glass room Mark! I can't go back! What if...." Sean began panicking, shaking his head and placing his hands on his cheeks, taking a small step back.

"Rodney's gone baby, no one is going to hurt you, I swear" Mark assured and Sean frowned, looking to the ground before looking back up at Mark. "That's not the problem, what if I never get better... and... and... I never see you again?" Sean's breathing picked up and he shut his eyes, placing his hands on his ears, almost as though he were readying himself for a panic attack.

"Sean! Jack! Baby, look at me" Mark demanded and Sean slowly opened his eyes, his lips quivering as his eyes glossed over with tears.

"Listen, it's only two months, you can do this Sean! I know you can, think of it in this sense, the more effort you put in, the better chance you get to see me" Mark said and Sean smiled weakly, nodding faintly, Mark smiling and leaning in, giving him a light kiss.

"I love you" Sean whispered and Mark smiled.

"I love you".

Gray looked over at Sean, biting his lip. Sean just stared at the ground as he usually did, not moving, a blank and expressionless stare that always sent shivers down Gray's spine.

"Hey.... Jack?" Gray called, walking to the glass wall, standing near by Sean. Jack didn't react or move, continuing to stare at the ground, blinking every few seconds. "Sean? Are you going to say anything?"

Sean didn't respond yet again.

"Mark's here".

Sean's eyes immediately went to Gray, his gaze so full of hope that it made Gray's heart crack. "Really?" Sean whispered, his voice cracked and he sounded desperate.

Gray opened his mouth to speak and Sean's gaze dampened, lowering his eyes back to the ground, Gray letting out a huff and hanging his head slightly, feeling almost satisfied that he had gotten somewhat a reaction from Jack.

It then had occurred to Gray that Jay was sick at home with the flu, and would not be back to work for days. "Hey Sean? What if I told you I could get you with Mark for a day?" Gray grinned brightly and Sean slowly looked up to him.

"I'd tell you to suck a dick for saying shit that isn't possible" Sean said bluntly and Gray's smile almost dropped, pursing his lips slightly and crossing his arms.

"Oh but it is, I can sneak you out and no one would notice a thing, give Mark a little surprise" Gray smiled widely, Sean frowning slightly. "But... won't Jay-"

"Jay is sick at home with flu, he won't be back for days" Gray stated, his grin only growing, noticing a small smile twitching at the corners of Sean's lips as he stared at Gray.

"What if you're caught?"

"I'll get fired, but it doesn't matter, I'd very much rather be into the arts of drama and cultural activities" Gray clasped his hands together, tilting his head and closing his eyes with a dreamy smile.

Sean couldn't help but let his smile grow at how cute Gray was, but also at the thought of seeing Mark again.

Mark looked over at the front door when he heard a knock, letting a frown cross his features as he glanced at Chica who had her head rested on his lap, her soft eyes staring up at him.

Mark slowly stood when he heard another knock, making his way over to the door and pulling it open, taken by surprise when Sean suddenly tackled him in a hug, Mark nearly falling to the ground.

"Mark! Baby!" Sean squealed loudly, pulling away and staring into his lover's soft brown eyes, a glint of happiness in his own oceanic blue eyes.

"Sean? What? How? Why?" Mark couldn't stop the smile that grazed his lips, pulling his partner to his chest again, hugging him tightly. "No need to thank me! I know, I'm amazing!" Gray beamed as he stepped inside.

"Gray, you sneaky little shit" Mark chuckled, hugging Gray happily, Sean chasing Chica around the room playfully. "Yeah, I have my ways, but I'll be back to collect him by tomorrow morning, around 10, I don't need to get him caught" Gray said and Mark nodded, the smile on his face made his cheeks ache but he didn't care.

Sean started running away from Chica as she chased him, Gray watching them. "Well, enjoy, have fun, and when I say fun, I mean.... have fun" Gray gave him an overly dramatic wink, Mark rolling his eyes at him, chuckling.

"Goodbye Gray" Mark pushed his friend out before he closed the door, turning to face Sean who was on the ground with Chica on top of him, licking his face, Sean squealing like a child.

"Get off! I love you too Chica!" Sean sat up and Chica walked up to Mark who kneeled to her, petting her. "She really missed you" Mark said, glancing up at Sean momentarily before looking back down at Chica, kissing the top of her head.

"She did, did she?" Sean walked over to Mark, his hands in his pockets, his eyes never leaving Mark. "Yes, and well.... I missed you more" Mark stood, looking down at Sean as he stood over him, Sean looking up at him.

Sean stood on his toes, kissing Mark lightly. The feeling was better than they both could remember, wanting to pull each other closer as the kiss got deeper.

"Were you well behaved?" Mark pulled away and took Sean by the hand, pulling him along towards his bedroom. "I didn't scream, get angry or do anything bad.... so yes?" Sean said and Mark glanced at him with a smile.

"So that means you get a treat" Mark said as he closed the bedroom door.
