freshman year; summer vacation
walking hand in hand down the narrow road, you and hoseok decided to take a stroll after the romantic picnic located on the nice grass with the somewhat high plains of korea. of course it was a bit annoying having cars pass by, but the sound was inaudible to you and your boyfriend's enjoyment as you would look up at stars and talk about your future.
sure, you and your boyfriend were only seventeen. but hoseok was the type to be really romantic and genuine, making promises to you you know he'd keep. it was rather cute of him to do so, but he would lately always be so distant towards you and you had no idea why.
but tonight, he couldn't help himself from loving you so much.
he felt bad for walking off on you that one time, making you a mess, thinking you two were breaking up. you remembered watching his tall stature walk away from you as he said the simple word goodbye.
but as he said those words, your heart couldn't help but want to love him even more. you ran to hoseok and wrapped your arms around him begging him to never leave, and that's what brought you and hoseok back together to this night.
hoseok loved you more than anything than to just leave you with your friends, yes, he knew jimin was going to wreck havoc on him, but it was worth it.
you were the reason why he was like this, and the both of you just wanted happiness.
the way you hugged hoseok was like the way you two cuddled in bed together when hoseok entered your window and hugged you tight. that kind of sensation lingered through your veins, making you fall for him even more.
but right now you two were walking along the empty road, seeing no cars pass at all. you two walked hand in hand, talking about the things that were on your mind.
"hoseok-ah," you swung both your hands back and forth, "thanks for taking me back."
"pabo," he giggled, "i never left you."
those words alone made you and your heart smile, so you only gripped his soft hands tighter.
"it felt like you did..by the way you were saying it, it made my heart stop."
hoseok only replied by breathing out sweetly, loving the way you sounded, "(your name), saying those words alone made my heart stop. i'm sorry if it hurt you, i was only doing it for-"
he paused, he wasn't sure if he should just say jimin's name to you.
"for um.."
"jimin."
hoseok turned his head towards you and stopped walking, "you know?"
you smacked his cheek playfully, "of course i know, dumbass. he bullied you all through freshman year."
hoseok's eyes couldn't help but look down, "but how would you know the reason why he was bullying me?"
you looked at your boyfriend with concern. you sighed and placed your hand on his cheek, stroking the area you just smacked. you knew he love being petted, it calmed him down and made him feel safe. "i've known for a long time how jimin felt towards me, jungkook told me."
