It's been days since I last saw Jane and to be honest I feel like she's avoiding me because she knows she won't be able to look straight at me and I couldn't blame her, but I still want to know how my best friend is..as I finish up making the popcorn and snacks for my date with Vanessa I decided to text Jane again,

she's seen all my messages but won't respond
(Comet» Hey, are you just gonna keep reading my text or your just gonna ignore me for the rest of your life, I'm never gonna quit) I hit send and put down my phone as the clock hits 6 I hear the doorbell and I rushed towards it and see Vanessa

"Hey, you made it" she smiled and kissed my cheek "Of course I did, I couldn't wait to see you and just be in your company" I smirked and we headed to the living room and she sat down and I put on a movie, I just put a random one in, we shared popcorn and talked about ourselves until she was getting closer to my face,

my face was getting red and her cheeks had tints of pink on them "V-Vanessa?" She leaned closer and kissed me, again it was a little spark but it's gone like I'm kissing my mirror "Comet, I was wondering..would you mind being my boyfriend?" I was so shocked when those words escaped her mouth but I wasn't as excited as I was on Sunday night,

I guess it might be because I keep thinking of Jane or I just don't want a relationship but Vanessa is likes the most beautiful and caring person I've met, maybe I'll see where this leads "Vanessa, I would love to" she smiled and attacked me with another kiss and it made me giggle a bit, maybe it won't be that right?

( Two Months Later...)

I walked down the halls with Vanessa and everyone kept saying how cute we look and we're goals but to be honest I wasn't enjoying one bit of it, sure it has its pros but also a lot of cons, a good thing is I have Vanessa and I achieved my goal but a bad thing is she's too clingy, like if I have to go to the bathroom she'll try to follow me in like,

I'm gonna cheat on her which I never will, and then there more I just can't take it and it's been just two months, I even heard of Jane at all she reads my texts but never answers, I even tried visiting her house but before I could Vanessa starts crying saying I'll leave her or cheat on her, literally I can't do anything anymore!

As we reached her class I kissed her and she walks in and I start heading to my class as I do I saw Jane I quickly get to her but I stop when I see her Kissing a guy, I never seen him in my life? Is that why she stopped talking to me? I hesitate but I just put my hood up and walk by quickly, I didn't want her to see me, even if I wanted her to..

After school Vanessa texted me she was picked up by her mom and I was happy but then I remembered Jane walks, as I turn my head I see her kiss her 'boyfriend' goodbye as he leaves on a motorcycle, he must be older, because we are freshman after all, as I approached her she looks at me and her smile fades "Hey Diaz, how you been?"

I move closer and look right at her "How I've been? What about you? I texted you nonstop wondering if you'll ever reply, seems like you have a new boyfriend, is he an upperclassmen?" She kept a neutral look "I'm fine, and he's a Junior..his name is Axel we met two days after I left your place two months ago, and I'm glad you have Vanessa now, you got your dream girl huh?" She gave me a smirk and let out a sigh

"I thought she was perfect, but she isn't..she's too emotional and clingy I'm not really sure if we were meant to be" Jane rolls her eyes "You wanted her, so suck it up..and I gotta go, my mom is waiting for me..do you want a ride?" She looked at me as she was at the bottom of the steps, her hair moving along with the wind and make up not as dark like before, I felt my cheeks warm up and I nodded "Come on hurry up"

I followed her and hopped in the back, and said hello to her mom, Jane tune us out with her headphones "It's nice seeing you, how you been comet?" I shrug "Alright I guess, I missed hanging out with Jane but she hasn't really been talking or replying back to my texts" her mom shakes her head "She'll go back to you, she always does and I know she misses you too..she sometimes destroys her bedroom because she wants to talk to you or even do anything with you, it's gonna take time, you'll see"

I smiled at her mother and looked at Jane who had her eyes closed, as we reached my house I waved at them well at her mother and entered my house where I see mom doing yoga poses, her belly isn't that big but it's getting there "Hey comet, was that Janna who dropped you off?" I nodded "is something wrong?" I look at my mom and nodded "Mom, I don't like Vanessa like I used to..I think I like Jane"
