"OH, LOOK. HOW adorable," Elle remarks, one eye on Roma's wrist—she's fastening a corsage on it—and the other eye looking out the window of her living room.

The doorbell rings and Camila goes to answer it, having already finished dressing half an hour ago. Jeremy's smile tumbles through the doorway and he's linked arms with none other than Laurent. They're wearing matching royal blue ties.

"I didn't know you guys had the hots for each other," Elle calls out.

"We don't." Laurent glares at her. "He saw mine and decided to wear the same color."

    "You look nice," says Camila.

Like the night of her concert, his hair is up and out of his face and he's clean-shaven—just a touch of aftershave. His eyes are as opaque as ever, marble surface and hidden depths. Remembering her date, Camila asks, "Where's Andrew?"

"It's a surprise," says Jeremy. "Nice pantsuit."

"It's not a pantsuit, you moron," Elle says, Roma's hand around her waist as she joins in. "It's a jumpsuit and Cam looks smoking."

"Looks like a pantsuit to me."

"Where's my date, Jer? You said you'd pick him up."

"Chill out, Cam. He's right behind me."

Camila moves Jeremy and Laurent out of the way to find Andrew fixing his cufflinks. The moment her eyes spot him, her mouth drops a little. "Wow."

Now, it's not that Camila's never seen attractive guys before, it's just that she's never seen one standing, waiting to take her to prom. Okay, last year she even walked down the stairs to her date, but she's never really seen Andrew that way.

In front of her, he stands, hands in pockets, hair perfectly coiffed—yet maintaining a certain softness, and his bright hazel eyes searching hers. They reel her in, taking their time, and his lips quirk up. Striding so that they're almost touching and she's falling into him, he bends down to kiss her on the cheek.

"You're so beautiful," he whispers. "Not that you aren't every day but I love how you didn't wear a dress."

"We can hear you, dipshit. And we're wearing dresses," Elle says. "Also, get a room."

    "Don't encourage them," Jeremy groans.

"Can we go?" Roma urges them.

"Yeah, let's." Laurent gestures with a tip of his head. He links arms with Roma, and they're the first to get in the limousine.
