Ross P.O.V

"Laura..."

The monitor beeps rapidly.

Laura is gone.

"Laura!" I hear people enter the room.

I wipe my tears off my face, and see my family.

"Mom, dad." I frown.

They rush to my side and hug me tightly.

"I'm so sorry." I hear a voice.

I suddenly feel anger boiling in Me.

"You should be sorry, you killed her!" I lunge at Riker, who has a white face.

My parents hold me back.

"I'll make sure you go to jail for what you did!" I growl.

"I'm sorry. I was just...jealous." Riker says.

"Jealous? You killed her because you were jealous?! That's not an excuse!" I clench my fists.

Doctors then escort everyone including me out of the room.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Lynch. But as you know, Laura Marano has passed away." A doctor sighs.

"Don't you think I know that?!" I yell.

He frowns, then enters the room where Laura is.

"Ross, calm down." Rydel hugs me.

"Calm down? Are you kidding me? The love of my life just died, my own brother killed her...How can I be calm?!" I tug at my hair and pound the wall.

"Mr. Lynch-"

"What do you want?!" I snarl, looking at the doctor.

"Someone wants to talk to you." He smiles.

"Who?"

"Laura."

"You better not be lying to me."

"R-Ross?" I hear a raspy voice call me.

"Laura?"

I slowly step toward Laura's room, breathing heavily.

I open the door, wearily.

"Ross, it seems as if God wanted me to stay alive with you-"

I cut Laura off and kiss her passionately.

She smiles and kisses back.

I pull away a little, "Looks like miracles do happen. And after this, I'm never letting you go."

She giggles," I won't mind."

I chuckle, tears pouring from my eyes.

"How are you still alive?" I smile.

"The doctors said that somehow after I fell asleep, my metabolism slowed down, long enough for me to be alive again. I think I became alive again was because God knew I was going to miss you." She smiles back as I caress her cheek.

"I love you, so much." We say at the same time.

Yay! Laura's alive!

But, has Riker fully finished torturing Laura?
