-Ela's pov-

"You any good?" I ask, smirking.

"I guess you could say that." The brown haired boy replies reaching his hand out.

"Ella." I probably introduce myself, shaking his hand.

"Competitive? I'm Blake Ryder." He laughs shaking my hand, his grip firm.

"So do you guys work out or something?" I ask. Tying my hair up in a high pony, with my scrunchie in the process.

""Sam!" He introduces himself. Biting his lip.

"Hi Sam." I wave. Grabbing my Badminton racket, and heading to a net.

"Not one for flirts?" Blake asks me. While he ties his shoes. His muscles flexing , and I couldn't help but stare at them.

"It depends." I smirk. Getting into place for are match.

"Did you like your view?" Sam inquires. Looking at Blake and I.

"What?' I pretend, like I don't know what he's talking about. Hoping I'm not blushing, I raise my eyebrow at Sam.

"I swear if I'm blushing-" My thoughts, and our conversation is cut short, by the team we're versing.

"We gonna play!?" A guy shouts.

Turning around, I find the guy quickly looking up from my butt.

He was your typical jock, with blonde hair, and brown eyes. But just by looking at him you could tell he was a jerk.

"I don't know, seemed like you were busy looking at a nice view." I sass.

Behind me Sam, Blake, and the rest of the guys, I've yet to introduce myself to laugh.

"Sorry didn't know where you came from, nice standards for a whore." The guy laughs. High fiving his friends.

"Shut up Drew!" Blake shouts.

"Yeah don't be a dick!" Sam fires back.

"Thanks." I quickly say to them. Before turning around, and smashing the shuttle in Drew's face.

"You're gonna regret that bitch!" Drew screams.

"Bring it on asshole!" I retort.

 -After gym-

Changing in the change room is nuts. As soon as I walked in all I saw was clothes flying everywhere, and steam. You wouldn't believe how thankful I was, when I saw I had a spare next. I got to take an extra long shower, and change alone. Sure it sounds lonely, but I'm used to being alone. All the time...

Exiting the change room, I run straight into what would be thought as a brick wall. I'm still for a moment, my eyes closed, and my body tense. As I wait for the impact of my fall, but it doesn't come.

My mind gets out of it's panicked state, and I realize there's a pair of arms wrapped around me. Holding me tight, and close to their chest. It reminds me of my brothers embrace. Whenever I was down, hurt, or whenever we saw each other after a while, it always felt like this embrace does. Warm, safe, comforting , trusting...

I quickly open my eyes, hoping my brother would be holding me. But it's not, this person doesn't smell the same, or look the same. I fall limp, my loss of hope evident.
